Dead against him not being allowed to train. Taking a guy’s whole life away if he does have a gambling problem doesn’t seem like a good idea at all. There has to be a punishment but that seems excessive.

Just saw Hope’s tweet saying the length of ban could be announced next week so Palace could be his last game for a while. I guess with Willock coming back and Tonali’s mixed performances I guess it’s as you were for us really. Hopefully he’s allowed to train with the team at least and should be fully up to speed and immersed in the squad by the time he’s cleared to play.

I like Longstaff but it’s a stretch to say he deserves an England call-up in my opinion.

I don’t know how my brain has done this but I was convinced Lua Lua had scored more than 5 Premier League goals for us.

Yeah I agree he has been up and down. This is the type of home game he could have done well in though.

I think it’ll be another ugly win for us today. I don’t think you can emphasise how difficult our start has been enough and think we’ll resemble something closer to what we’re used to seeing today.

It’s kind of how I’ve viewed the start of the season. Fine margins and we could easily have got something in the last two games had we scored the chances we should have put away. Momentum is massive though so next game is a must win.
