I hate the finding a way to criticise players when they’ve played well. He’s previously had bad games I wont therefore rightly give him praise when he’s done well is weird way some fans go about things. He’s a squad player. If we’re going to compete at the top level he’ll need replacing. Also recognise when the lad has done well Ffs as it’s his (and others) contributions now that will get us to a place we want to be. I think you’ve got to be worried about signing a player who’s entire fan base seems to think he’s shite and over rated. For what it’s worth I don’t even think we’re in for him. We may have enquired but don’t think we’d pay anywhere close to good money for him.

I get player value is essentially determined by a number of factors - mainly what he’s worth to that specific club but Brighton seem to repeatedly pull peoples pants down over the fees they get.

Good luck to him. I think it’s a mistake to let him go unless we have a replacement. I’m assuming the terms of the loan must have been favourable for us financially.
