Eddie would have him on the bench for 5 or 6 games to learn our systems and then maybe off the bench once the match is wrapped up. Hope Ronaldo would knuckle down and add defensive pressure to his game, non of this prima donna malarkey or he can go play with maxi in the dressy up box. It's a NO from me.

If he could eliminate his slow movement on the ball, he would be a truly special player Work rate is first class and his defensive game is first class, he has at times been compared tho Carrick…….Carrick didn’t cover the ground the way Shaun does. Excellent game.

Other supporters will hate us, but people love winners and if the future does bring silverware it’ll also bring massive interest in Newcastle United FC -

Painfully slow in possession, his off the ball work is top notch though, definitely worth his place.

Had a cousin who married a Everton fan, he wouldn't even talk about Liverpool FC without going in the huff. Must have been around 70 - 71 he took me and another cousin who was Newcastle daft to see Everton v Newcastle at Goodison Pk, I remember we got beat. I also remember the crowd trouble, Everton charged the Newcastle fans and scattered them, the Newcastle fans regrouped and Everton fans applauded them, then they attacked again. Another time I was there we drew 4 - 4, a cracking game. The scouse Mackems in my experience are a dangerous bunch, they have a element among them who given half a chance will attack. Hope we hammer them on Wednesday, horrible fuckers. -

Doesn’t seem real all this, a modern coach choker’s with enthusiasm and drive, a group of players being honed into a attacking ruthless team of winners, striving to be the best their capable off. Dreams to come true -
Doesn’t sit right with me, tagging a sponsor to St James Park would be like selling our sole to the highest bidder. No to any erosion of our History and Traditions.

I believe we’ve the making’s of a good team, cracking performance by the lads, we were streets ahead of Fulham. Away support was fantastic, wish I could have been there to experience the atmosphere. Contented ✌️

I think we need to remember when Woody used to play against us, he was a handful and caused problems for defenders with his strength and his heading ability. Granted his heading has been deplorable for us, wether that's down to confidence or trying to hard, i don't know, however I do know the lad does have very good heading ability when he's on song. Give him time and we need to stop the groans if he loses the ball, the lad needs backing and i'm confident he will become a very valuable player.
