Anyone else a bit disappointed that we haven't seen more of Tiotes attacking side? Given he has shown glimpses of good attacking play at times before this season and as we arsenal know, he has a canny shot on him, I thought we might have seen a bit more of that against the lesser teams this year. Thought he and Cabaye would have the option to interchange more in attack. Saying that I'm even a tad disappointed that so far, Cabayes threat seems to have gone backwards a bit. That game (villa ) where he was shooting like a man posessed from the edge of the box. Would love to see more of that from them both tbf.

Gutted to taste the first defeat in yonks but overall happy with the way we had a go. At times it looked as though we were playing footballs equivalent of the Harlem Globetrotters (guess we were tbf). Hard to have too much of a moan given most ran there legs off. However.... We need to resolve this Jonas problem as his attacking game had all but disappeared of late. If Pardew doesn't trust Rtaylor to defend then we need to start Santon. Sammi did ok, a tad careless at times but overall a good taste for him. Can't see Ben Arfa and Ba working and for me, I would stick with Ba and Best and find a place for Ben Arfa on the wing. With regard to Ben Arfa, seemed to keep it simpler than previous and showed some nice moves. Seemed to lose possession quite a bit at first and annoying that he was constantly standing around when possession was lost. Whether we are a team that can afford to have a defensive passenger I'm not sure? Look forward to Man U hopefully with Tiote and Best back and wing options.

Well there's a team to put out! Key to the success of this line up will be Jonas remembering his attacking responsibilities are equally as important as his defensive ones. No way Sammi should have the burden that Obertans been having of late. Ben Arfa will need plenty of options on both flanks otherwise they will just shut him out I fear. Gonna need a cushion to hide behind while watching this

It's an exclusive innit. For what it's worth, there isn't much he's said that strikes me as likely far from the mark and gives a pretty interesting insight (if true). Obviously not the best policy to get a bit bladdered and give it the billy big bollocks in earshot of some sad sacks tape player mind. As long as he never said nowt bad about Wor Demba who cares ? What Llambias has said doesn't affect me or anyone at the club (not that Shepherds digs against Shearer or Owen or even Bellamy I suspect really had much of an effect despite them still being in his employ), just harms him personally with those he's taken pissed pot shots at, while giving the rest of us an unexpected window on why they've taken some of the decisions they have. The guy, while doing a decent job, does come across as a massive dick more often than not, but this supposed overheard pub conversation doesn't really bother me at all in all honesty. I agree with most of that and what I find more revealing out of this whole episode is that it appears to highlight just how much Thomson House are cosy with the club. No mention of this at all in any of their titles and the fact that it was a mirror exclusive doesnt stop other papers reporting the "mirror exclusive". Bodes poorly for any balance going forward. (if ever it was there).
