Jonás Gutiérrez (now managing Club Almagro)
Christmas Tree replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
Bored with this argument. Lovenkrands did more attacking in one game than Jonas has done all season. Constantly up field and out wide making himself a target for some great balls. Also did one run in the first half that had it been Ben Arfa, the internet would have melted. I want a winger to attack not defend. If the defender is not good enough get rid, but dont fanny about with no attacker and two defenders. -
Jesus, 3 or 4 more Ben Arfa pages! Aint even going to read them because this post above pretty much sums it up.

Best trained today according to Ryder. Probably too early for him though. -
Plus 1 Absolutely spot on by the club, really pleased about this.

Yup, that's what I was getting at. Saying that on the one hand and then preparing to care about fans on the other. Scumbag and a fake but we all really knew this anyway.

That article sums up what a shit of man he is. Pleased he's no longer here. Poison.

I appreciate what collymore is trying to say however I think for most of us we just cant get our head around this particular person being in such a bad state and not an inkling throughout his life of from family or friends of any sort of depression, mood swings or odd behaviour. Collymore does have history, beating up women, and has gone into great detail about how when depression hits he can not leave the room for days etc. The absolute opposite with Gary seemingly at every stage of his life, even the way he has went on during his last day. For those who do understand depression, Im not sure how common it is for a case to be so extreme. Totally understand where you are coming from aswell Apal78, it does seem to defy everything given all that we so far know. Inquest opens today.

Sunderland Echo poll now nearly 50/50 over whether he goes now or stays til the end of the season. Give yourselves a round of applause

This for me like. Doesnt seem to be a sniff of this sort of outcome anywhere in his life.

You'll have to get it done as its the best atmosphere going. (If we win)

Definitely the best scenario. Relegation is all well and funny but being robbed of two derbys isnt.

Just watched the first half again. That piece of skill sewelly is on about from Obertan is fantastic. Dare I say the Ben Arfa thread would have melted had he carried it out However I cant make my mind up on Obertan. He obviously has skill and some of his set up crosses and passes around the box were very good. I also like the way he has a football brain and sometimes sees the better option is to cut through the middle rather than just whipping down the wing, but he just seems so uninterested when we dont have possession. Its not a major thing but it does frustrate me. Its so obvious but if we can get the same threat down the left we will murder someone shortly. Not trying to be anti Jonas because he does graft, but the lack of left wing threat seems the missing piece for me. -

Some great photos from the match. The one of Krul after the Manchester goal is quite something. http://www.nufc.co.uk/page/News/Gallery/0,,10278~2530562,00.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter -
Defintely dont think we have a strong squad but off on a slight tangent and although its obvious, we are blessed with a very strong first team. Sometimes we go through patches where we will have good strikers, but porr midfield and defence or good keepers and poor strikers. Today we seem to have a fantastically good spine of Goalkeeper, defence, midfield and attack. The let down in it all for me is on the wings where we could desperately do with some real quality or Guile. Think if we had a Solano or Robert we would be real contenders for the top four / five.
