  1. Yes but they just went and watched the training ground from outside the fence ffs it's hardly putting a spy camera in the dressing room they just fucking watched the training from outside the ground, anyone can do it and Derby could do it to Leeds if they so wanted, it's cheeky sure but not drugging the other teams food to make them ill or anything
  2. I get that it's cheeky like, and the threat in that scenario is a punch in the face and you can't complain, but football ain't some monastery sport where nothing underhand ever happens ffs, clubs are always painting cloakrooms odd colours for visiting teams etc to make things uncomfortable etc (famously happened to Leeds earlier this season) it doesn't seem much different to me
  3. I mean, it clearly is but ok No really, please explain taking into account that Derby could well have done the same. If derby had chosen not to field a goalkeeper, or not realised you could that would not be unfair that Leeds had as an example.
  4. My point is that spying on an open air training session is hardly an unfair competitive advantage, maybe if you'd bugged the team talks and what not. It was perfectly available for Derby to try it on to Leeds they just didn't think of it. Maybe it's a bit unsportsmanship but to be honest plenty of worse stuff happens on the pitch to worry about pre match hijinks of questionable worth anyway.
  5. I mean if you count this as an unfair competitive advantage I'd hate to see your reaction to the news some clubs get to spend more money than other clubs
  6. Here is Leeds training ground. Pretty sure Derby could have sent someone to watch the ground if they'd wanted to. How is it unfair?
  7. It's almost like it's...a...competition or something
  8. I've always instinctively disliked Lampard then actually found him to be ok when actually listening to him and I can understand him being pissed, but the infraction seems minor and the sport is hardly some great moral force to get righteous about
  9. "it appears they line up roughly 4-5-1 and just wander aimlessly around and rely on terrible reffing to decide games" was mostly my experience of championship teams, the ones with the plans were the ones who went up
  10. Honestly I think the main effect is one less member of staff for Bielsa to use, I mean who needs to go that much length to work out championship sides tactics
  11. I'm all for it, in fact need more in depth spying, clubs having sleeper agents in other clubs for years waiting to be activated. Kind of like Pardew was one for Sunderland

    Rafa Benítez

The squad is horseshit and his supernatural powers to get them playing above themselves has faded as it always would a bit. He does deserve some flack for negativity but I think many are deluded as to the true quality of the squad. A disrupted defence this season hasn't helped with some players losing form badly. For the record I back Rafa 100% regardless. He will get the team playing as well as they can do at some point, it may be too late but whatever.
  13. I missed a comma out so my joke didn't work, (it was meant to be: Why, you asking?) i should learn to type better really
  14. With their powers combined they'll manage to come away with not one but two sports direct giant mugs to show for it

    Sunderland

We're in the position we're in because we keep having a go at budget options of players who aren't that impressive and what a shock they aren't that impressive
  16. Fucking hell how did I manage that not even on autocorrect on phone It’s healthy to experiment mate - if it’s on your mind just go for it you cock hungry devil you. To be fair I am actually gay
  17. Fucking hell how did I manage that not even on autocorrect on phone
  18. While this new look man u do look a breath of fresh air compared to dreary mourinho-ball I still think they look like they'll get murdered by the first properly good team they meet. Their defense still looks poor only with more space in front of them. Spurs, Liverpool and man city all won't be that intimidated by that attack.
  19. What amuses me is that regardless of how true or not this all is (I still lie on the Kenyon sincere or not Ashley won't sell side), I had imagined these negotiations were basically a few brusque meetings hammering out prices and then lawyers and accountants going through all due diligence and accounts and passing demands from one side to the other etc. This makes it seem more like a Jane Austin novel with Kenyon and Ashley writing little letters to each other about how serious they are and how much they respect each other or something
  20. Kenyon thinks he's close, Ashley thinks time to stick another £50m on the price tag
  21. Still don't get City fans booing Milner, thought they were kinda glad to be rid of him
