I do wonder if there was more consistent, quite beligerent retrospective action for dives, regardless of if the incident had been seen by the ref then refs would have a lot more confidence giving pens in games. Players are given benefit of the doubt way too much so you get pens not given and players not carded for diving.

I may be alone but thought the first looked more of a pen than second, the first while he did appear to throw himself over a bit the leg definitely did come out and make contact. Second one to me looked like contact was very minimal, not enough to bring anyone down. Willing to accept may have missed something though.

If we lose him and the takeover falls through I will find it very difficult not to start attending a non-league nearer me. I think it'll happen but it may be in the summer but it sounds like PCP won't up their offer and Ashley won't yet sell for that, one will blink, but I am not totally convinced it's inevitable that ashley will sell, he is way too petty not to consider refusing completely even after all this work has gone in. I also don't buy that it has gone through and is being kept secret, that seems fantasy to me. If it had gone through they'd be doing transfer business in a hurry to shore up their investment.
