First half of season Shelvey was certainly hugely important, possibly the best. Ever since his ban he has been poor which i think hugely contributed to less than stellar performances for a lot of it.

Well no but not been hugely impressed by the quality of attacking players in championship, more attritional in scoring than clinical often. Lot of teams in premier league do have really technical players even if inconsistent.

I really think he stabalised our catastrophic defence a lot this season. I do fear for him back in the premier league though, he looked poor for Villa there, and you know you move from marking the Cameron Jeromes of the world to marking Eden Hazard etc...

Ultimately could be good for them, there's something rotten for a long time there and they've been offering nothing to the fans (much like us) for a long time apart from benefiting from pardew being a useless cunt. I doubt they'll come straight back up but may precipitate some positive change over time at the club rather than doing minimum possible to take the tv money. I rather hope they languish for a long while in the leagues below us though

Amazing isn't it. Managing Director of a top flight Football Club at that age, is pretty darn impressive to be honest.
