dont be silly its not a friendly with a bunch of players missing trying some new players it's all cos england r woke we lost, we should have a picture of st george murdering some transgenders on and then we would win (just to clarify this is a joke)

The ice caps are melting, noone can afford to live, theres war all over and all the news is about tiny flags being a different colour, it's just wank. Anyway just watching for gordon and bruno and i hope it ends like this between them ;d

I mean it's kinda for the Nottingham Forests of the world where the owner could be splurging more than he can afford and who would know, and what would happen if he ran at a £200m loss and then bailed leaving the club in financial ruin. The issue is how the rules are a) favoring clubs with outrageous incomes massively so rather than at all limiting spending of the rich clubs to bring others closer to them are restricting everyone else, and b) incentivising the fire-sale of homegrown players by clubs which feels mad to me... I think it does mean clubs are less likely to implode but it's bad for the league in it's current form. It either needs to be changed to mean clubs that have the cash can spend it (even if it meant extensive proof of funds required) while still incentivising growing clubs revenue etc as should happen, or somehow scaling back the completely bonkers inflated prices and wages of players to allow clubs to be more competitive. I have no idea how to do that though. I also think something to make it more difficult for clubs to hoard players somehow could help? None of this will happen tho

They could have sold someone else too. I know but with these things you do have to have cut off points at some point

Gif that kid

Incidentally does anyone know if there's a pub showing the game in vicinity of the cluny? Never go that way to watch but got gig directly after

Sigh shipping goals to one of the most goal shy teams in the league. We're just not good and there are a lot of reasons for that at the moment. Tbh just want this season to end at this point.
-
Fucking awful goal to concede we were all over them and how many chances to stop ffs
-
Definitely a foul anywhere else on the pitch, though how many dodgy decisions have they got over the season at anfield, feels hard to have any sympathy

Oh dear Villa
-
What a pointless VAR check, one look can tell its fine
-
What a cross that was

I dunno i quite like Villa for being willing to be a bit more willing to be direct when the goals are flowing they've been pretty decent to watch this season imo, but they seem lacking in a bit of confidence up front, this has the hallmarks of one of htose 0-0s where you arent sure how either team failed to register a goal

I am sure he had been good for leicester a lot, he got a bunch of hype, but whenever i see him he's a slow passenger most the game
-
Everton are absolute pap, man us literal plan is give it to garnacho and hope he wins a pen and it's actually working really well
-
In fairness haven't Leicester just fallen apart in recent weeks, they were dominant but suddenly lost a bunch in a row so hardly indicative of why they are top

I dunno about Paqueta, I imagine we'll shop in europe for the next big thing like with did with bruno with a chunk of his money and maybe buy an experienced defensive mid from a premier league team as a backup. Paqueta will cost more than Bruno did and isn't as good, and his wages will be a fair amount. I think we'll still be going for value buys like Bruno was for FFP maximisation we can eventually sell on.

If Bruno is off (please don't let it be so) still need a really high quality CM in to replace as much as Tonali will be here.

I don't know, i think this season has really hurt his managerial credentials, it's not just their defense is rubbish, it has been rubbish all season and they don't seem to have improved. They are absolute kings of 'played well, still lost'. They walked the championship and it was always going to be difficult, but for a team that seemed a level above there to now seem to be giving a significantly worse account of themselves as Luton really need to look at themselves. you can want to play the right way all you want, and I think even finishing bottom 3 would ultimately be fine but doing so so meekly feels underwhelming.
-
i think generally while Villa compress play they are fairly happy for brighton to pass around the back and even play effectively on the counter (see last seaosn when Villa were the only side to proper batter us doing that) and are direct, it's a good counter to Brighton's style of play. Brighton seem really off it this season anyway so think Villa will be fine with that.

He's great, though succession planning is needed. Exciting young rcb in summer please

I had Wolves to go down so he's proved me wrong there, did well with Bournemouth last season and then is doing a fine job with wolves, looks set to be the next big steady midtable premier league manager to fill the Moyes or Roy role for a few years.
