worring -
fucking idiots lol

Having a quick google for evidence you may have a point, jury convictions for rape have gone up from what i thought, it's getting to trial is the (severe) problem, so I have to acknowlege i was basing on haunting anecdotal testomony of court reporter talking about rape trials.
-
He's entitled to be treated as innocent, so fair enough but juries clear rape suspects lightly all the time
-
Oh was ages ago and was meant to be a light hearted thing about silly big hair being a sign of a bad defender. I just think most football writers never gave enough of a shit to watch us play and still have crap surface level knowledge of the club in the way they'd get sacked for if it was spurs
-
Not long ago a footy writer used him as a random example of a 'comedy' bad defender and i nearly wrote an angry email.

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

I dunno good fundraiser for Gateshead and really not too fussed regardless so probably won't pay. Should maybe have been framed as that rather than good news you can watch it as if it were free -
I know why he says that, and ultimately for us sure, but saving Bournemouth from implosion then taking them to the premier league (and staying for for a fair few seasons) was a huge achievement. He is certainly a better coach now, he used the time away well, but I hope he either privately does, or one day give himself huge credit for that.

Lets not be too harsh on fat rude emerati kids jesus

we have options now, i mean we could field a midfield 3 of tonali, bruno and longstaff and a front 3 of joelinton, isak and miggy with the plan that the opposition will absolutely never have any peace on the ball with our midfield and wingers just relentlessly pressing and our striker willing to drop deep. I think Longstaff will lose out a bit to Tonali with Willock coming in to switch out to whoever is on the left. We have capacity for fluidity, and Barnes' directness will certainly be helpful in some games. I wouldnt be shocked to see joelinton on left and a similar lineup as above against the big teams, willock, barnes and gordon coming in against others.

Bit of me misses having final score on getting something done at same time Saturday afternoons lol
-
I don't expect him to score as many but i do expect him to score closer to his actual level in a system suited to him where he does contribute and his running allows tripps freedom. Hate this writing off miggy/impatience to replace everyone, we can't buy £60m players for every position in one window
-
Also those arguing that Barnes isn't that good, that may be reflected in is spending £30m less on him than a genuine worldie in isak. The team has lacked goals, if we were less reliant on Wilson we would have been 3rd or better last season
-
Johnathan Wilson isn't even that stats mad either he just started it by writing in depth on tactics properly and all the xg nerds came afterwards
-
I still have faith that while miggy was definitely over performing he can get his shooting boots back. When he came back from injury he was starting to look threatening again as season ended.
-
Awful take, she's been their U21s manager for years hasn't she? Would a longstanding u21s coach being promoted as interim ever be accused of being unusual if it were a man?
-
i think excellent value for price, adds more goals to the team, can't see what there is to complain about. Howe will improve him too
-
I mean imagine signing a contract with your boyhood club till 2027 and you are automatic starter, being hailed as a future captain then you're told we want to sell you to raise funs, bye...This is not to say I think he's unhappy (yes analysing pics is nonsense) but that's gotta suck, doesn't mean he can't see the other side of it a chance to join an exciting project to win stuff in the premier league though.

I really can't unsee Adam Driver...

Kane scores so often i think it's just become normal for people, he really is very very good
-
Could work. I still wonder just copy how cricket and tennis do it, each team gets so many challenges maybe 3, you don't lose a challenge if you are successful, adds a little bit of strategy to it and there's no longer that automatic goals scored and then wait for millimeter offside calls, only when a team actually thinks something is offside, and then it's a bit of drama. Also would mean 'Captains' have something concrete on pitch to decide
