They have had less time than us to prepare as they played on Saturday, though we did have the trip to Wales. They've rotated more though, I think... Well anyway shouldn't be worried, with Cisse in the team might as well start 2 goals up Ok with that cockiness now I have jinxed us...

Suspect after our Swansea game they'll be terrified of us on the counter. Only worry is tiredness in front players I suppose, not longest break between games.

If I were a coach, I have to say I'd be nervous about sending him out to play again.

Another early goal would be nice, force them to come out and attack and we can hit them on the counter, not that we should need to with our front in tact but may be ncessarily if they do park the bus.

It would be brilliant fun, reduced league form or not. I suppose the worry at board level is that could stop us challenging for champions league next season, but what happens if we sacrifice the europa league and still fail to make champions league? Lets go have fun, try and bolster the squad enough and not lose the fun fretting over league positions overly.

thought he was just kicked out for a week for going mental? He started out alright, they always seem to go mad after a bit of time on here...I thought he got a bit much stick first time he posted and was well mannered but he did go downhill...

According to the Chron won't be playing tomorrow. Not too bothered oddly, he always seems to not show up against relegation fodder teams anyway...

Suspect Yakubu would want more playing time though, I wouldn't want him as first choice even if Ba goes, not very fast...Something about him has never quite convinced me, except that he does seem adept at scoring, never can work out how though...

If Carroll is in the team we'd just go back to hoofing it, would give us a plan b, but...no just no. With Ba we have a striker who can do the plan b heading stuff as well the better footy anyway. That's the kind of player we need even if Ba goes.

Adam Johnson is a bit of a prick isn't he? And he'd cost a bomb. Does need to basically restart his career though. Still would say no.

Jonas is a brilliant player to have, when on form can give defenders a bad day, but otherwise has a perfect attitude and work rate and if not terrorising defence is a reliable passer who knits team together. Also obviously well loved in dressing room.

Marveaux? Ahahahaha yeah that transfer really sunk us bad didn't it...

That midfield is horrible. Not a Gosling hater but not yet ready to start and form the core of the team with raylor imo. I'd like Abeid to get some minutes though, see what he's like.

if colo and our CM are fit, I may consider resting Ba, it's a bit of a tough one, I think he may just need to score again... Just watched the second goal again, he's practically falling over already, and just flicks it so well. Absurd goal. Also Cabayes passes for both goals were excellent.

His Ba for Ferguson sub worked out well. Kind of thinking I like, albeit one can be too reactive.
