They do, they have already spent more than what we apparently want for Sissoko. Financially they are in quite a good place compared to most Italian clubs.

One v One I agree, Anita doesn't get caught out of position anywhere near as often though. The team is just so much more balanced with Anita at RB because he picks his spots better and doesn't leave the CBs having to cover for him anywhere near as often. Janmaat just imbalances the team with his horrible decision making and the results with him at RB compared to without speak for itself. People can continue to hope it will get better but I have personally had enough and I'm hoping Rafa has too, his performances have been shite for months and the team usually plays better without him. If that's Gamez or Anita I really don't care, I just hope he doesn't start as his performances don't deserve it.

Can I ask why? Our results with Anita at RB since Rafa became coach are night and day compared to Janmaat. There's no way in hell that Janmaat should be starting based on his performances over that time period. Janmaat's got a higher glass ceiling ability-wise imo. Also think you're bugging Anita up to something he's not at right back. He's alright and probably fine for this level, but is liable to as many defensive howlers as Janmaat. Not saying Anita is fantastic but he usually puts in a solid performance at RB and the results are usually positive since Rafa took charge. Can't remember one good Janmaat performance in the same time frame, honestly couldn't give a rats ass about him having a higher ceiling supposedly either. He certainly hasn't proved it with performances and been dog shit for months, his so called ability going forward isn't impacting the game positively and defensively he's horrible. Don't see what he has to do to get the criticism he deserves to be honest, his defending is awful and his decision making of when to make runs completely imbalances the team. His technical talent is masking the fact teams exploit him on a weekly basis and he doesn't do anything the other way to justify it.

Hopefully not, the bloke can't defend. It's not a coincidence in the slightest we went on an unbeaten run when he got injured to end last season. It's also not a coincidence that we looked so much better tonight without him, as we always do. His inability to defend and kamikaze decision making in terms of forward runs completely imbalances the team.
