First game and away, i wouldn't be totally in shock if Rafa decided to start with Anita on one side and Ritchie on the other. I hope Aarons and Ritchie start though. Pretty certain that it will be Anita and Ritchie on the wings Why is that shocking? He's been playing there in pre season.

Because of what they did in the PL? how do you know they won't score much more at the lower level? Will never understand this considering Gayle has 15 goals in 3 seasons in the PL. Besides Mitrovic goal return since Rafa came in has been very good, i'm not particularly convinced that Gayle will score and the other two won't like everyone else. There isn't any evidence to suggest that tbh.

Yeah but why does that matter? fact is since he came in the side we had one of the best defensive records in the PL, obviously he's not the only reason but he takes a huge amount of credit for that so i'm struggling to understand why it's a gamble or a risk. It was the obvious choice and personally if it wasn't made it would have been the wrong decision.

Based on since Rafa's been in charge he should be and it shouldn't even be up for debate. Honestly i don't think it's that bold of a move, it's the obvious decision and most managers worth their salt would do the same.

We have paid more for players who didn't start regularly. Anita for example cost nearly 7m and there's plenty of times where he didn't start, which was before the TV money is what it is now.

Tbh I wouldn't have minded a Taylor level player being 4th choice in the PL assuming he wasn't a crock. Even the best teams in the league don't have particular good 4th choice defenders.

Aye, when he mentioned to the press for the first time a few days ago i think he meant a CM who can score too but Diame seems to have that covered.

You don't always need both full backs attacking. It's about balance and I think Rafa sees it like that. The players we have in front of full backs should make the difference attacking It's about the fact Dummett can hardly control a football tbh Not so bothered about attacking part personally, but having a solid LB who is comfortable on the ball would be great IMO. But like i said i do think what we have is enough to get through the division.

Aye the quality is not great there, although i do think what we do have will be enough to get promoted.
