Does the top 4 pick itself though? the top 3 does for sure but after that i don't think Arsenal and Spurs are comfortably clear of ourselves and Everton. We are a lot better than we have shown this season i know we are capable of much more sure on current form we are nowhere near the top 6 but as far as individual ability goes and what we are capable of i believe we are.

Already been done mate Anyway Sissoko is more a B2B than a DM he really is a poor mans Yaya in every sense of the word. Damn you! Anyway, without him replacing someone we're in danger of having too many purple players. lol, but seriously if this does happen i would be very very surprised if one of first choice midfielders doesn't leave.

Honestly i agree if Ba can't make it i would start Sammy he's the most dangerous of our fringe wide players as it stands. Not to mention Sammy and HBA running at defences would be great. -
Not like it means anything because of the shit source but The Sun are running the Sissoko story too.
-
im not convinced. Whose is better? i remind you we finished 5th with that line up last season

Tiote does not pass the ball quick enough to be a Man U player, sure he would do a great job off the ball but on the ball i'm not sure he's good enough for what they require. As for the whole top 6 thing.... i genuinely believe we have a top 6 team the issue at the moment is the manager is using what he has incorrectly. Is there 6 better XI's than this? Krul Simpson Saylor Colo Santon Tiote Cabaye Jonas Ben Arfa Cisse Ba I don't believe so.

Suarez played against Perch and Williamson in April and was Anonymous. -
Sissoko would only really make sense if Tiote leaves, he is different to him he's like a poor mans Yaya but we have DM's so if Tiote were to leave id imagine we would sign an more attacking midfielder

If Ba can't make it then i'd go with that as well except i'd go with Simpson instead of Ferguson. -
Considering the alternative is Shola i think i will take my chances tbh

I really saw a different game to the rest of you i thought he did well when he came on unlucky not to set up a goal or 2.
-
Same, but this place has been surrounded by OTT reactions tonight for some reason.
-
Not sure what he's suppose to do when he's deployed so deep, if you look at all players with similar skill and style they all deployed in the final third not in their own half ffs. He can't dribble past the whole team every single bloody week no one can, put Messi in the same position as Ben Arfa and i doubt he would do much better. Players need to be given the platform to succeed and he isn't, i thought he did bloody well considering the circumstances and if it wasn't for him we would not have won the game.

Sammy Lee? seriously ? Anyway i have thought for a while we should hire coach who specialises in passing and movement to work under Pardew.

I didn't see the game but Blackburn away last year?? We looked like 2004 Arsenal compared to that crap today. Aye, not even comparable. what? We were far worse against Blackburn, man. Aye i still don't think we was that bad today certainly not abysmal or anything i'd call it average against Blackburn we should have lost by 3 or 4 it is one of the biggest robbery's i have seen in football -

I honestly don't think it was that bad we played well in patches but nothing was happening for us in the final third everything we tried just wasn't coming off into the 93rd minute and that goal Anyway a win at last and Cisse has a goal hopefully we can kick on now ( for the 10th time) -
From the clips and highlights i have seen he seems to be one of those Beckenbauer, Bergomi, Hierro etc etc type defenders played as a sweeper or a libero and brought the ball out from the back and got plays started and because there was always 2 defenders behind him he had license to get forward. Not many defenders like that anymore except for Colo of course
