I'd rather have Johnson than Obertan tbh. This is isn't football manager, Johnson wouldn't be any more than a squad player for us. To be fair, I think he wouldn't look out of place in our first 11. We don't need him as we have other, comparable options, but if we were looking for a winger I wouldn't mind him. As for the mackems, he's much better than anything they've got, so definitely a good signing for them. That's the point really we are very well stocked in midfield and in wide areas. We would have to drop either Jonas in 4-4-2 or Demba in a 4-3-3 and neither would happen. There's other priorities than get an expensive bench player. Great signing for them though if it happens as is Fletcher despite the over the top fee, had them down for relegation before think i might rethink that.

Fletcher is a good signing for them, far too much money but doubt they care. I take it the mixed 11's have already started with Ba and Cisse on the bench and Fletcher starting btw?

Rather Terry play tbh, he looks very shaky when Chelsea are playing more open. Still great when defending deep and pace don't matter mind. Mind you it makes certain Luiz will play now and he's always capable of a f*ck up or two as is Cahill for that matter.

I don't think he isn't trying i think it's more to do with a lack of confidence.

perhaps he would get a run in the team if he wasn't so "meh"? It's a myth anyway, the season before last he started a lot of games. The reason he doesn't start is because he isn't good enough not because of lack of opportunities. Although having said that he would be great for the mackems.

Azpilicueta is a very good signing for Chelsea in my opinion. Think he'll develop into one of the best RBs over the next few years Agreed, he's a very good player from what i have seen in the CL and La Liga before he moved to Marseille. Probably will start for Spain before too long and probably more suited to attacking football than Ivanovic. ( who i would'nt be surprised to see them move to CB long term) Hoping he hasn't been signed in time to face us

He's a class player will definitely improve them. Although i don't believe it just yet as this summer Sahin has probably joined Arsenal about 9 times according to the media.

Anita is better in tight spaces, in possession and passing than Jonas IMO. He understands the position tactically better too, but that's natural as Jonas is naturally a winger. Both are fantastic options none the less.

Completely not on, yes he's not very good but that sort of s*** is never going to help him. He does look like the type of character who struggles with confidence so get behind him ffs and maybe just maybe he might make something of himself.

Yep the main reason i was for the move is because i thought we could make something of him like we have with Santon and Ben Arfa. That and i'm desperate for a fullback who can contribute going forward.
