Quite frankly there shouldn't be a headache at all, all 3 should be playing long term in 4-3-3. Well having said that Jonas is class in the middle too but anyway point is that it shouldn't be about displacing Cabaye or Tiote but playing alongside them.

Does he, really? I think he's physically capable the way he is, as is Sammy Ameobi and even Campbell. We in this country put far too much emphasis on physical ability forgetting that it is actuall football ability that counts. He's never going to get the best of say Terry in a physical duel but he will win the football contest and that for me, is what I want to see. Agreed plus if he bulks up too much he could lose some of that agility and technical ability. Speaking of which was watching Sky earlier and a reporter was asking if Hazard needs to bulk up

This is the reason why i'm confident. Chelsea have some quality attackers but defensively most of their players are not suited to playing an open and expansive game. Terry, Lampard, Mikel, Cole and Ivanovic don't like pressing and going back the other way or playing a high line they are not used to it.... They much prefer playing deep and countering, teams will exploit this. Whether we do or not i don't know but i'm certain over the season that team's will exploit their defensive deficiencies. Hazard and Mata will be dangerous though.

Moses, Diame and Rodallega gone. They were pretty much all they had. Brought some decent players in though, decent enough to keep them up anyways.

He should do in theory, he's much better than who they have played outwide recently, but the likes of Bertrand and Ramires will play instead and he will ride the bench.

1-1 imo, Chelsea have struggled against worse teams this season despite the results and those weaknesses can be exploited IMO.

That was the first competitive first-team game of the season for Harper, Ryan Taylor, Williamson, Tavernier, Gosling, Marveaux, Bigirimana, Amalfitano and Campbell. Obertan and Anita had played five and twenty-five minutes each respectively. It was a bit rusty but good enough in the circumstances. I wouldn't be too worried. I agree with both of you really, but i think the line-up was more to do with the schedule - rather than a "play the reserves" policy. It was in future Europa ties you will see stronger line ups IMO, btw easy in hindsight but Amalfitano should have started instead of Obertan.

As for Swansea i never thought they would go down, comfortable mid-table is what i had them down as i have rated Laudrup ever since his work at Getafe and some of the signings seem to be very decent at the very least. Have to say though after seeing them in action and a couple more of wise additions seem to be coming in with a bit luck i can see them getting top 10.

I like Ince, surprised Liverpool let him go so easily considering the dross they have playing for them.

Usually i would like to see more first team players because i hate seeing how clubs treat this competition like a throw away garment but we play away to Chelsea 48 hrs afterwards we have been forced by the idiotic schedule. Plus point is we get to see some youth players and hopefully they swim rather than sink.

I had a quick search on Twitter and couldn't see anything other than a few links with Valencia. Weird. Apparently the french media have us down as one of the interested clubs but Valencia are the only ones to put an offer in.

So far it's a bit average but if we can get a RB and a CB or Striker before the deadline then i'll be very pleased, will save any judgement until then.
