I'd always still intended going anyway but mentioned the boycott to the bairn and her response was that we'd already bought season tickets if we didn't go it meant Ashley was the winner as he'd took money off us without us getting the service/goods/game we'd paid for. Said we shouldn't let him win and shouldn't let him stop us from doing what we enjoy doing ie going to the match. We've already missed Brighton as we were on holiday (lad at work bought our tickets though) and may well miss Liverpool due to my neices wedding but this will depend on the game being moved for tv. It's about the visual impact though. I know, i get that, but i also think fuck him, he's not stopping me from doing what i want to do which is go to the match. He'll be laughing his stots off at that fact he's had the money and people haven't come. Not as much as hes laughing at you for still turning up season after season . Its mugs like you that keep him here and in the long term fuck the club over . Take a bow And its people like you that lead to a divided fan base by acting like a dick. Your type gets people's backs up as you're incapable of putting a well reasoned argument across and resort to slinging insults. Its counter-productive and is more likely to push people in the opposite direction.

It has to be in reply to this embarrassment which I Hope was done by a red and whiter! If one of ours did it then he needs dipped in shit! FFS "Save me a bottle of brown up there". Plus Monty's random appearance. The one in the replies with Rafa's head as the head of the Angel of the North My favourite is Rafa as the horsepuncher and Ashley as the horse

love a bit of bed-wetting post revivals

Like the way Dinho played it cool by leaving it an hour to respond as if he doesn't check in every 5 mins awaiting new activity.

He did say he understands where the fans are coming from and to be fair he isn't wrong, protesting IS negative! You don't protest about something positive Not to say it isn't the right thing to do from our perspective, but from his he just wants to win games and if he feels having a positive vibe/atmosphere would help then that's what he wants. As he said, they lose, train lose then train again...must be pretty demoralising and frustrating for a competitive sportsman so he probably is taking a selfish view. Protesting would be a lot easier if we were healthily mid-table...

I do get your point, and he deserves to be applauded for his achievements. But the issue with clapping is that it infringes on how other people were showing their respect with the minute silence, and seeing as that was the "approved" option then it should have been followed. If they'd asked for applause and people chose to be silent, then that wouldn't impact anyone else so fair enough. All my opinion of course and I certainly wouldn't have a go at anyone about it.

Only person speaking any sense here was Rafa and that's been glossed over as doesn't support the twitter-esque outrage.

Not as weird as the original post to be fair
-
He was probably just pissed off as wasn't playing and didn't want to talk about it.
-
Wow, that's utterly embarrassing.

Saved me a post. Albrighton too. Yeah, I know. My point is did Leicester fans only cheer those players or the average players as well? We're bitching at average players as though it's their fault Ashley didn't get the decent players. I found that distasteful.

Danny Simpson and Wes Morgan won the premiership title for Christsakes

Maybe. But this is a poor squad. Joselu, Atsu, Diame, Yedlin/Dummett, Manquillo etc. No players who can beat a man, a weak midfield (bar shelvey), dodgy full backs, Ritchie is just a worker, Perez can't find form. Kenedy is a good player and we have good CB's/Keeper. That's it really, though. This team is full of hard working, average footballers, bereft of creativity, and we have no game changing subs. That's not good. Yeah sorry, I definitely agree with the squad being very poor. But with Rafa and 2 added top players I think it would be a team to be respected. I just don't like bitching about players who are not those top players. Every team outside top 5/6 has a selection of average players, they just enough quality to carry them. That ratio gets worse the farther you go down.
-
Yeah, not sure I agree with that especially when some aren't shit. A proper no. 10 and a striker and we'd be comfortable. That's not the players fault. Edit - per the supporting/shit comment, not squad garbage which there clearly is
-
Resembling footballers? Give over. Fernandez, Kenedy are decent. Muto settling and promising and Rondon TBC. Ki currently seems tripe and Schar is cover cos of Lejuene. Hate"fans" slating players as though it's their fault other key positions weren't strengthened. Guess we can only support the best ones. And then cry hypocritically when they show no loyalty.
-
More games in the championship with less turnaround so can understand the need for bodies.
-
Not sure I agree but I've never been a professional footballer so I don't know. But, considering some of the players you have mentioned are ones that might need replacing then I'm not too sure how valid it is, and it's not like they agitated for a move in the summer so would indicate they're not that disillusioned. Plus, any team from 12 downwards is kind of in the same boat. What are they playing for?
-
Guy is lightweight, I canned my own kids off when they decided to like marmite.
-
Of course he wouldn't. That's more pr bollocks as if that was the case why not just sign a contract saying he can spend x amount or walk for nothing Has a contract like that ever been signed? Are you a lawyer? Im going to assume the answer to both is no.
-
I largely enjoyed last season and will always be grateful to Rafa for that as suspect it could be the last for some time. However, wish he'd left in the summer in all honesty. The ridiculous reported standoff that Ashley would only back him if he signed a new contract and Rafa reportedly only signing if he was backed didn't help anyone. Would Ashley have? Probably not but we'll never truly know I guess. He has spent/wasted (McLaren) in the past so maybe. Either way, Rafas stubbornness was built out of wariness of Ashley over repeated broken promises, whereas Ashley's was not wanting to lose face. Surely you'd trust a man of Rafas integrity? But suspect Ashley would have seen blinking first as weakness.

"The landlord's unrealistic rental expectations are putting unfair pressure on Mike who has selflessly saved HOF from ruin"

That seems a lot...did I miss him threatening to kill him?
