I saw that typo when read back but couldn't be assed to change it. Now I feel a fool

The players we have are better than our position. Yeah we have some weak links but ant fans in the Prem will say the same thing about their own team. I don't buy in to this club is rotten from a playing point if view. Yeah for us fans it's shocking but players live in a bubble and to them Ashley and Charnley are just a fat man and a bald man who sit in the stands. They couldn't give a sh1t...why else would players like Wijnaldum and Mitro join? These guys have been fighting to play football most of their lives and a club hierarchy doesn't touch them. The manager/coach is the only one who has an impact and our current (and last few years) have been utter crap. A real one would have us mid table and with 2 upgrades in the obvious positions pushing 7th/8th.

Looks like he's smuggling rocks in his thighs.
-
Cos he hasn't had 47 for us and couldn't care less at the moment about his "previous". If he carries on in the same vein for the next 5 games after (I assume) he's been told to calm it then yeah, he'll be getting on my nerves.
-
Cazorla's reaction is the key one imo, said it yesterday. He's got a smile/laugh of total disbelief and then goes over to console Mitrovic. That's all you need to know about how 'dangerous' it was. Not sure thats valid as they would have been watching the ball, not where Mitrovics foot ended up. Sure if they had seen his studs hit the shin they would all have been in the refs face regardless of whether there was intent or danger.

It's all down to interpretation and there is only 1 mans that actually matters. Enough people agree with him and equally enough people disagree to show it's not exactly a freak decision. I personally wasn't surprised when it was red but don't think it was malicious at all and probably not dangerous enough but can understand an on the spot decision...especially with dudey writhing on the floor. It happens every week so not sure why the big deal. Mitrovic will return and he'll be fine. He doesn't strike me as the wilting flower type so doubt will affect him too much.
-
I don't think it was malicious as he looked towards the ball as soon as it ran off. Still stupid and clumsy, not particularly surprised it could be interpreted as a red.
-
We should have four on yellow. Not two and a red. Red bottled it. Including the penalty challenge it's pretty poor control...
-
Red or not, some bloody stupid/pointless challenges. Don't give him the option FFS.

Go on Hatem! http://sport.bt.com/beautiful-game/ben-arfa-smashes-in-dazzling-solo-goal-91363999752664? Love the final hit...
-
Do you actually believe at the moment we are a bigger club then Southampton in terms of football credibility? Even if you do, Austin and his agents won't and will expect more money to come.
-
Frankly, any manager joining us in the state we're currently in would be showing a terrible lack or ambition. Difference is they can go elsewhere where as the club have to settle for what they can get.
-
At least give him the rope to hang himself 1st. He is meh and I'm not excited by the appointment particularly but coming off the back of some shocking management over the last several years then we just need to consolidate and rebuild the squad....yeah, I know it's not sexy but the club is a mess and it's not going to take 1 managerial appointment to turn it round. All this constant hysteria is gonna get us a rep.....oh wait.
-
I just feel that in paper we aren't that unattractive. We have a pretty solid/exciting group of Janmaat, Sissoko, de Jong, Cabella, Perez and even Cisse who can get goals....Aaron's is up and coming as well. We were also 10th at Xmas with a negative manager who wasn't getting the best of those players and team so there is clearly some potential. Yeah the hierarchy is rancid but if they meet with a manager and offer to invest some funds then I would have thought a manger such as Laudrup would find it appealing. No one would join (Carver notwithstanding) without the chance of some rebuilding and funds so I'm assuming this will be on the table.
-
Meh, would excite me more than Carver or Mclaren for the "unknown" factor but must be better options.
-
Love the guy so would rather him leave after his performance today. All the people bitching about him if he stayed next season would irritate me.
-
Go Sissoko Cue throwing the ball away petulantly for 2nd yellow
-
Ah ridiculous excuses, how I've missed you
-
Ah fair enough...assumed Guti or Taylor would have been out.
-
Day before the match and Carver is still f***ing around with the team selection. How can you spend all week preparing training and match tactics for a game when you don't even know your starting 11? Exactly this. Surely a game plan with Cabella is going to be polar opposite to the team that was put out. It's unbelievable....well, unfortunately totally believable actually.

This guy is the poster boy for losing a dressing room. He's been singling out players for weeks culminating with accusing a player of deliberately getting sent off and has admitted the team don't listen to him. Added to an 8 game losing streak how the hell have they not just returned him to coaching duties?? Fair enough it might be too late for a proper replacement but Beardsley couldn't be worse and at least has some football pedigree that might garner an iota of respect from the squad.
-
No probs guys, it's impossible to play a mid week game with a small squad and get a result on the weekend. Pards told us. In. the. bag. :frantic:
-
Link for the second one? Voila.. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/john-carver-tells-newcastle-take-5507029? Colback has been the most consistent performer this season apparently.

Post Sunderland quote: "I don’t put shackles on these players – I want them to express themselves." Pre Liverpool quote: "Moussa, we had to put the shackles on him, because of circumstances." Trolllolololol

So Pardew is either a genius or Carver is utterly hurrendously out of his depth.
