  1. Omonia transfer confirmed?
  2. Sounds like something Godfrey bloom would come out with
  3. I imagine he wanted the attention, not realising that he could be arrested for it. Which is ridiculous. Correct. is it any surprise?
  4. Bit of a cuntish move that. Who'd have thunk it, odious club
  5. It was an admittedly stupid and extreme example, but I just can't understand this apparent concept that we should be looking to employ a manager and players that AREN'T good enough to be at the highest level. Doesn't make any sense to me. If it was a choice between a striker like McCormack and a relative "unknown" from abroad, someone like Mitrovic for example, you can surely see the worth in choosing McCormack over player X? Don't have to think it's the best course of action, I'm not sure it is, to entertain the possibility but it makes sense; you know you're going to get goals in this league.

    Graham Carr

Which I'm sure is quite an important part of the scouting business. As long as he doesn't have any more power than he deserves/is qualified for then it's unlikely he's going to do much harm; especially if Rafa is bringing in that McParland fella as well. If Carr thinks he's worthy of whatever jumped up position he's currently holding then we might have a problem.

    Graham Carr

Think it's rather difficult to judge him without knowing exactly what say he has had, or what weighting he's put on the players we've ended up signing. I think it's pretty clear he's ended up in a role not best suited to him however but that seems to have been reverted now? If Rafa is okay with what he's doing, and has the ultimate say, then let's go with it.
  8. They've managed to piss me off even when appointing rafa. I bet its that rod stewart looking scout in charge of periscope
  9. It looks fucking shit. Whoever said it was notts county was spot on. Really not hard to make a decent strip, although I don't think it's entirely Puma's fault. I'm guessing they'll put forward a portfolio of options to whoever makes the decision and whoever that is is probably more concerned about how big the sponsor looks/how cheap it is or some other devaluing criterion.
  10. How long does a relegation clause last/how does it work? If he doesn't sign a new contract, assuming he got what guarantees he was after when initially signing, and someone come along for him in say November and we want him to stay can he go "but a-ha! relegation clause!" Not saying that's how he'd go but is it important we get rid of the clause?
  11. Would be nice for him to stay if Rafa can galvanise him/kick his head straight. still wont forgive him for the lack of bottle hes shown at times. will be hard fighting off arsenal over summer mind
  12. What if those decent ones are still better than the shit ones without trying? This is the contentious thing for me, I think for me it's purely about performance rather than perceived effort. In terms of who should fuck off fastest then yeah I agree. But players who could have kept us up going hiding for most of the season boils my piss more than Colback being his usual shit self.
  13. Aye he's a twat. Many twats in the squad, but most of them are just shit. Wijnaldum would've kept us up if he played like he is perfectly capable of doing. That for me makes him a lot more worthy of hate than any shit dickheads we're lugging around. Same goes for Sissoko and Janmaat but not to the same extent
  14. Wijnaldum everytime for me. Taylor is shite and thick as mince but ultimately not his fault he's been picked. Wijnaldum however is clearly a decent player but is just a fucking bottler, deserves way more stick than Taylor for that
  15. If he did make it clear he wanted to stay but Ashley and co decided he wasn't worth it, you'd like to think that would be the final straw for anyone still giving them the benefit of the doubt. Won't hold my breath
  16. Think there's a chance, outside of Wenger getting sacked I can't really see another job in England for him - assuming his desire to stay in England is as big as is made out. Can't imagine he wants to manage in the Championship too much mind, and even then the chance of Ashley fobbing him off is too great to vote yes.
  17. So what if he can't hit a barn door, in bed with maradona wrote an article on him. The bigger goals in the championship will be the making of him.
  18. Philosophy. Rooney is wank, perhaps if he'd been able to beat a man in the last three years he wouldn't be hiding. Or just play him in midfield ffs
