  1. Agree with this but I'm not sure how it's the case, when every other players including even Sissoko seems to have regained theirs.
  2. 2 people? Nice counting. Also comparing him to Obertan I'm sure counts, or is probably even worse. Anyway people had their opinion before his signing and that's fine, we've all been wrong on players before.
  3. Really? Who are these people?
  4. To think so many would rather have seen Thauvin played instead of signing Townsend.
  5. Goal against Blackburn won me £120. Still a useless mong though.
  6. He should be given a 3 game ban just for that fucking pathetic attempt at a punch.

Now they're out of the bottom 3 I'll be interested to see how they cope. All their previous 'great escapes' have been when it looked nailed on and they were fucked so had little to play for. Now the pressure is on them and they're leading the pack (of shite), which is something they're not really used to. Hopefully the pressure gets to them.
  8. I generally find Liverpool fans online to be complete morons, totally deluded and just idiots in general. Since living here everybody has been sane enough and everybody seems to hold Newcastle in high regard too, even pre-Rafa. I used to fucking hate them because of the online perception I had but since living here and especially now they have Klopp I do like to see them do well.
  9. He was a DM for Toulouse and by his own admission he modelled his game based on the style of Vieira. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1512720-newcastle-signing-moussa-sissoko-is-a-superstar-in-the-making I can't say if he plays DM or CM for France or anything, but I recall Deschamps being amused when he found out Pardew was playing him as an AM and told him not to expect to play for France in that position.
  10. The change in attitude is obviously a major factor, but we need rememeber he was a DM at Toulouse where he gained international recognition and Deschamps was pissing himself laughing when he found out Pardew was playing him as an AM. He's totally shirked his defensive responsibilities when playing in advanced positions, but I think playing him as a CM to implement his physical presence and tackle and transport the ball is where he's best suited. Edit: Top players (whether you categorise Sissoko in that bracket or not, in terms of ability is one of our best) are rarely going to play for managers they don't respect when they've got eyes on their next move. Jokers like Pardew, Carver and McClaren were never going to be able to get the best out of him long term. Maybe Rafa can.
  11. Couple of times he put the ball out for throw into and shepherded the ball out of play thinking he was winning the throw in ? He's not only shit but a fucking idiot. At least he actually applied some pressure and went to players, something Shelvey hasn't been doing in his time here.
  12. Agree, I recall his nonsensical touchline gestures when he was at Liverpool, but never anything as animated as this. He's having to guide them every step of the way but it's brilliant to see he's so into it and the players are listening/respecting him.
  13. The fact that so often it's the 'bigger teams' that benefit from these decisions to me suggests there is something not quite right. Goal line technology is a step in the right direction but why the f*** have we stopped there and we're still constantly talking about referee cock-up's when there's £120m at stake every season, it's absolutely unbelievable really.
  14. Agree he should have squared it earlier to Colback, but it's fucking Colback.
  15. Ran himself into the ground and played fantastic again - no way he could have completed the full 90 and tbh I still don't think he looks fully match fit yet, but the sharpness is definitely coming back.
  16. Tbh I know we all have our gripes over Elliott but he's been our player of the season prior to his injury. It's easy to say 'he would/wouldn't have saved that' but Darlow just looks shaky and I see it as nothing short of a miracle that we've only conceded 1 goal in 2 games with him there. Think that's more to do with playing 2 DM's than Darlow coming in.
  17. That linesman was dropping fucking clangers all game.
  18. I still think Elliott's injury and having to play him could be a major factor that costs us relegation. Don't rate him at all and I s*** myself whenever someone takes a shot against us, no matter how far out they are.
  19. Another assured performance from him today apart from when he gave the ball to De Bruyne. He seems to be getting better the more he plays and I really hopes he makes me eat my words about him earlier in the season.
