  1. We've got 3 defenders and 4/5 midfielders performing to absolute s****, Mbemba was far and wide our best defender and looked farmore assured than any of the doylam's who's played at the back for us this season, especially in the earlier games - it's only been the past 4 games he's looked s*** and that's as the rest of the squad has declined, it's not a coincidence. He would be fantastic in an actual football teams defence but because he's surrounded by s*** here who are letting him down time and time again both in defence and midfield the response is "he hasn't improved us at all". Bit difficult to do that when you've got Janmaat nowhere to be seen/captain back off. Sissoko won't cover him so the task falls to Mbemba. Colo couldn't catch a cold, so obviously it falls to Mbemba to cover him - yet another job he has to do. He's practically responsible for 3 defensive positions so to give him any flack over the plight of the team is a joke. So aye, he has improved us but due to the 7 other players in defence and midfield around him he's looked s**** on the goal difference front which is all anybody is looking at when making the statement that he "hasn't improved us at all".
  2. Agree completely, he's class but keeps getting exposed by Janmaat and Colo.
  3. Paul Dummett is utter garbage, Zaha is making him look like the 2nd rate defender he is.
  4. Revert back to the 4-2-3-1 and play with 10 men by having Cisse up front and hope we snatch a 1-0... Sound familiar? Fuck off McClaren with your Pardew-esque tactics shit. I can give no higher insult to what I think of this formation.
  5. Like seriously, how is any of this in any way an excuse for Pardew? Particularly when it's guess work and the official line from the club, Pardew and Jonas is that it was a football decision. It's not an excuse for Pardew, it's my opinion on how I think the powers that be run the club. I can't stand Alan Pardew as much as the next man but I think it speaks volumes that he was starting every game under him and then as soon as the cancer news comes out it's "find a new club, it's a footballing decision" only after that time. Prior to that Pardew's usual patter was that Jonas is invaluable to the team due to his work ethic but then immediately after the news he's ostracised and told to find a new club. You know as well as I do the 'official' line from the club means jack s*** in most instances. There's always an agenda.
  6. I think it was more likely a club decision, especially as he had been declining well before anybody knew he had cancer. He was constantly getting game time despite playing poorly as he fit the Pardew ethic of 'work hard, play shit'. The decision not to play and basically make him an outcast is something I reckon came from the top, Pardew saying it was a football decision seems like something he's been told to say, especially when prior to the cancer news he was constantly starting, which was annoying the shit out of everyone.

    Kevin Keegan

TCD - You said individually our players aren't that good anyway. Some of our players individually are very talented, take Perez, Mitro, Gini, Sissoko as the main examples. It's just the lack of a working system that suits these invididuals and the fact that the club is rotten to the core, hence the awful attitude from players prevents them from working together properly and making a very good team. If a team like Bournemouth had the players we had and were looking at fixing a defence I honestly think they'd be a top 12 team at least.

    Steve McClaren

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/20876/10079174/steve-mcclaren-in-training-ground-row-with-fabricio-coloccini-and-other-senior-players Good on him if true. Glad Coloccini in particular has been singled out especially as he's likely still the highest earner at the club and an absolute embarassment to the title 'NUFC captain', the useless stupid-haired f***er.

  10. As much as I think he's a very talented young player I'd worry about his attitude being at our club with all the s*** that goes on. Also I'd be mindful we don't have any wingers - with the exception of Aarons who is constantly 'injured' and Thauvin who looks utter garbage so far - and our 2 best CM's on paper (Gini and Sissoko) are playing out wide. I really do think our priority has to be on a proven PL winger and a CB going into the window. Townsend would be a good buy for us I reckon tbh. Obviously other areas are in need of improvement, we seriously need a proper LB and a DM as well but I can't really see Ashley sanctioning 4 signings made to seriously improve us in the Janurary window, even if Sissoko is f***ed off.
  11. He is a total pikey like, I wouldn't expect him to be a connoisseur in foreign delicacies or anything which baffles me as to why he needs a personal chef when he can get a rustlers burger for 50p when on special at the corner shop.
  12. Don't think he'll come here, unless he finds a personal chef to attend to his every whim similar to Jermain Defoe's PA/mam.
  13. Kieron Dyer is on I'm a Celebrity.
  14. Not enough love for this

    John Carver

One of my mates seen Carver in Hoochie Coochie last Friday night, barely anyone recognised him as 'he looked a lot younger' so was able to enjoy his night out. I told my granda as his best mate worked with and knows JC well personally and he told me that he got about £1m as a payoff and "he spent a canny bit of it on botox, because his face looked like it'd been mangled by a racoon"
  16. Where's that crazy French HBA lover who sometimes posts on here? I'm hoping he'll make an appearance soon.

Been saying this for a while but tbh I'd have Perez and Mitro spearheading the attack with Aarons playing just behind and a little further out wide. De Jong is fucking pony.

Think it was high 40's but about that aye. The way I see it is that the money spent is the Carroll money which was never invested which has been picking up interest for a few years, and about 80% of the Debuchy money. You're still then looking at other players sold, gate reciepts, merchandise and obviously the £60m TV money each year which is nowhere to be seen. Edit: Or what nemtizz said.

Drawing of Kane is almost lifelike. Also loved "You can't even call them mince pies anymore."
  20. Honestly reckon Lee Ryder got 'chat shit, get bnaged' on his arse after the game.

Don't pay for Sky, as BT Sport is free. While doing that, I also watch online streams for 3pm kick offs - it's a shame because as soon as I black and white shirt I'm automatically lining Ashley's pockets just the same as someone paying for their ticket and having a pie and a pint at half time.
  22. I remember De Zeeuw saying in an interview years ago he wanted to be a detective when he was a kid so he was going to do it as soon as he finished playing football - fair play to him. I reckon Adam Johnson will be taking a leaf out of John Chiedozie's book when he finishes playing tbh.
