Would acting like cunts and racially abusing them do the trick?
-
Aye, no idea how with that prolific bugger though. At least we know he won't be on pens....
-
Duff ¨ At left back Who was on the bench that day? Edgar, Butt, Lovenkrands & Duff are the obvious weak links. Swap in Gutierrez, Beye and Enrique and its not such a bad side on paper. Enrique and Jonas were both on the bench - as were Shola, Owen and Raylor.

You too - would love to see QPR go down....
-
It's genuinely all they've got left
-
Convinced one of Arse or Spurs will drop the required points, but sadly think we will too. There'll be people on here burning Danny Simpson in effigy later tonight I reckon....
-
Aye, Speed used to get dogs abuse at Goodison, which was odd as they rarely seem to get very worked up about anything.

The bugger cost me a top six finish. Kept faith with him for far too long. Aye, he's cost me badly too - even made him captain a few times to try spur him into action. Resisted the urge to replace him with Cisse, didn't want to transfer the jinx. Brought Jelavic in instead....
-
I've finally dropped him from my fantasy team after persevering throughout his drought - bound to score today now....
-
Probably score another final day own goal the useless sack of shite.

I can't even decide for sure whether i would want us to win it this way to be honest - watching world class players and winning every week is all well and good it's just a question of how much the dubious methods taint it. For example, I've got a mate who's a Man City fan, has been all his life, been through all the shit times etc, but whenever he tries to gloat about their success now I just shut him down with "doesn't count, you've bought it" and he's got no comeback. Might make me a bit of a twat but also makes me think I probably wouldn't want to swap places.

New owner is former Sheffield United chief exec Charles Green. Means their last two owners have been Green and Whyte - nice touch. (shamelessly nicked from Twitter )

Good article from a Man City fan not enjoying the success because it doesn't feel right - think I would be the same if we were buying the league: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/the-last-word-why-city-no-longer-belong-to-me-7742262.html My favourite bit:

Some absolutely classic mackem revisionism going on at the minute. Especially looking forward to the mental gymnastics some of them are going to have to perform if and when things turn sour at Marty's party....
-
In my experience Liverpool fans from Liverpool are usually OK, it's the gloryhunters around the world who only started following them when they were winning that are the problem - I guess they have to refuse to acknowledge failure as being a gloryhunter following a team with no glory must be a little distressing.

I think that's a bit OTT, but I've also said that Pardew has a chance to be a Fergie-light here and stick around for many years to come. Aye, being a young chap he could become like a Wenger or Moyes type for us, sticking around for ages while working within the budgetary constraints and hopefully delivering regular European jaunts and perhaps even a cheeky trophy or 2.....

Ah man, karma can be such a bitch sometimes.
-
If he doesn't make it, surely the call would have to go out for Perchinho?
-
Absolutely fantastic news, and very much deserved. Well played Pards!
-
Well you have to say Phillips, then there's.....well, I think they had a keeper made a really good save once, Montgomery or something?
-
I genuinely think at least half a dozen of our current team would make it into an all-time mackem XI It must be soul destroying for the poor buggers.
-
Very, very good player - perfect for the left side of a front 3.

Honestly thought our days of European football were gone for the forseeable future - absolutely delighted whatever happens this weekend.
