Used his pace really well against Montero and didn't over-commit going forward, basically the anti-Janmaat. He'll need to be right on it again Tuesday night.
-
Makes such a difference having a proper defender there - this is the first time Rafa has been able to play an actual left back, he'll be hoping that hamstring holds up...
-
Aye, I'm liking the combination of Cisse starting, then bring Mitro on as the battering ram when the defenders are a bit knackered.
-
Most bookies have us around 1/3 which equates to around 75% chance of going down - that's probably about right.
-
Big call by Rafa to drop him today, but it was 100% the correct call, think he'll be benched for the rest of the season now.
-
My MOTM today, just shading Lascelles.
-
Glad to see him finally get a goal, hopefully will have some confidence and finish the season strongly, we're so much better when he plays well.
-
He was proven to be a liar the day he took the job when he said he'd only been approached the week beforehand. Fucking hell, forgot about that - warning signs were all there.

That's what I can't understand with the ruling. Plenty clubs don't play players due to contract disputes like this, pretty sure Rob green isn't being played by QPR for that exact reason. Difficult to say without seeing all the evidence, I'm thinking it must have been pretty overwhelming for a ruling like this. And if we're honest, where this club is concerned it's generally always best to assume the worst, cunts don't deserve the benefit of any doubt imo.

From the nufc.com match preview: Siem De Jong has started just three PL games this season - victories against Liverpool (h) and Spurs (a) plus the home draw with Aston Villa. Surely time to stick him in there?
-
Jonas man Quite surprised he won this, not because the ckub aren't fucking scum just thought he would struggle to prove it.
-
Of course he is. FFS.
-
We won't miss him, he's been an absolute liability for weeks now. Hopefully Mbabu is fit, if not then I would be tempted to give the lad Sterry a go, much prefer a proper full back over an out of position midfielder.
-
Exactly. With his contacts he must know plenty of people who would be up to it, and just having competent people on the top roles would make a huge, huge difference. As with everything though.....but Ashley :'(

Have to be honest I've paid very little attention to the Championship this season so thought I would take a look at the teams doing well down there at the moment - these were the latest starting lineups for Burnley and the smogs, the current top 2: Heaton Lowton Keane Mee Ward Boyd Jones Barton Arfield Vokes Gray Konstantopoulos Nsue Ayala Gibson Friend Forshaw Leadbitter Stuani Ramírez Adomah Nugent Looks pretty shite tbf, if we can retain just a few of our better players we should be OK if we can start to rebuild something like a team spirit.
