Says it all really, especially this: Thomas @Thomas91nufc 1h @dcb72 You get the impression from Lee Charnley & John Irving that they just don't care about our concerns. Thomas @Thomas91nufc 1h @dcb72 Nah don't worry mate. That was my last one, learned that nothing will get through to them about the more serious matters... Why would they? They're a couple of nobody cunts in a very cushty job given to them by dear old Mike. I'm certainly unaware of any relevant qualifications they have for their high profile roles in such a big company. Kissing ass and toeing the company line is obviously the only way to gain advancement in a Mike Ashley company - doubly depressing as it means there'll never be anyone of substance in a sufficiently influential position to challenge the current status quo.

Fucking hell man. No point trying to play decent football because there's no money in it. Don't want to risk winning a cup because it means almost certain relegation Seems to me like someone on the board has read a copy of Moneyball and completely missed the fucking point. I've really no problem with trying to run a club in a businesslike fashion, but it's supposed to be an entertainment business ffs. It's almost beyond belief.
-
It's very possible we've found out what the going rate is for a decent manager and decided not to bother.
-
We would be better off keeping Shola, that's how bad this lad has been.
-
Surprised he's not taking Andy Carroll.
-
So he's sacked for only getting 15 points from 17 games. Points we managed in our last 17 games? 16.
-
Hughton was being linked with that job over the weekend - would be a strange move imo.
-
Seems to have been a noticeable change in tone from Pardew the last week or so, actually conceding that he might perhaps bear some small personal responsibility for our struggles - I reckon Ashley's PR monkey has probably had a word, told him to try not being such an arrogant twat all the time. It'll never last.
-
I'd be surprised if we managed a 20m net spend. It will just be the same excuses over and over again. I reckon we'll just about spend the Cabaye money on 3-4 half decent players, lose Remy, Ben Arfa and Marveaux and Pardew will be falling over himself to tell everyone how brilliant Mike has been.

Can see both sides tbh - had a canny bit of banter with the Liverpool lads in the pub today, think proper football fans should always have the right to take the piss out of each other.
-
Probably not, given the likely standard of any replacement. Ask the same question about Ashley and it's a tougher call...
-
Seriously man, barely a week goes by without a ref/linesman clearly being called a fucking cunt within clear sight of the TV cameras and you rarely see so much as a yellow card - Shola legitimately questions a shockingly poor decision without even swearing and is sent off, wouldn't happen to Rooney/Gerrard/Terry/Cole etc in a million years. And not a single pundit even calls it as a poor decision. Game is corrupt beyond belief.
-
Absolutely - just imagine the shitstorm that would have descended if that win had just given Liverpool the title.
-
Exactly. Ridiculous double standards. Dowd is a corrupt fat piece of shite.
-
To think I ever wanted these twats to win the league - not making that mistake again.
-
Whatever you think of Shola that was an absolutely ridiculous decision today - how many times have you seen the likes of Rooney and Gerrard absolutely screaming abuse into a refs face, and have you ever seen a red card for dissent? Didn't even swear ffs - gutted for the lad.
-
5 at the back surely?
-
Were they together at Reading? Aye.
-
Will definitely be supporting Nigeria if Shola is there. Tip for today: He'll miss a penalty to fuck up the only impressive thing about his playing record.
-
He won't be on his own man - De Jong will be there for that extra added goal threat!
-
No surprise if Remy has bailed - doesn't want his potential new employers watching him associated with a such a public bumming.
-
Too bad he doesn't have the ability to lace Cabaye's boots Absolutely agree, just think that is where he would be used - our chances of getting another player with Cabaye's ability under the current setup are close to zero imo.
-
Delph is a totally different player to Tiote mind, would be much more likely to be used in the Cabaye role.
