It's just a job to these guys, simples Well I've got a face like a smacked arse when I've had a shocker at work, so it's even worse. I get your frustration, I'm exactly the same in work, bad day, bad mood for me, but I guess when you're being paid squillions of pounds you just get to a point were you've other more interesting dilemmas, than being pissed off a bit. Should I really buy that yacht? Wonder if I saved for a bit could I buy an island somewhere? etc etc.

Isn't he back managing in Argentina somewhere? Nope. Was linked with a return to Newell's but it never happened. Would love to see that appointment, but it just would never happen unfortunately

Words to currently describe NUFC . . . . . .

During last night debacle, I posted at one point that there "were no words" to describe something or other (Saylor's Red I think) but having reflected on it, that's clearly not the case. English is a very descriptive language, and contains a raft of different options to describe practically anything or any given situation. Clearly a lot of you are devoting huge amounts of time and effort, detailing your concerns, discussing formations etc but perhaps it would be nice to have the opposite of that, by trying to describe your currently feelings towards either the most recent game or the club in general, as succinctly as possible. Partly inspired by Language Corner in Chat section, it might also be nice if any non-native English speakers like Felipao, VI, Mike etc, had any good translatable words that we don't have an equivalent for, that would describe us perfectly. Thankfully, the game last night and the state of the club currently dovetail nicely together so I can use these words to describe both Just a few off the top of my head Shambolic Adjective Chaotic, disorganized, or mismanaged. Wretched Adjective In a deplorable state of distress or misfortune; miserable: Deplorable Adjective Deserving strong condemnation. Shockingly bad in quality. Frustrating Verb Prevent (a plan or attempted action) from progressing, succeeding, or being fulfilled: "his attempt to frustrate the merger". Prevent (someone) from doing or achieving something. Would be interesting to see the words over time (i.e; after a great win etc) but we might have to wait a while for that.

The Official Alan Pardew Excuses Thread

We looked at it menacingly a few times. Did anarl, definitely remember a close up of Cisse, glaring at Hart (albeit from some distance) -
Most of the players we've bought have been descent, we're just turning them into worse players. That is all

He just looks like a booking/sending off waiting to happen, totally misjudging/misreading the game/pace all the fucking time, it's actually frightening. A full International you say? Jesus
-
Ramage? Ramage never had a game like that, man. Ever. West Ham at home, 2-2, defending on the wrong side for one of the goals. I remember it, was just nowhere near as bad as today. True, he was still pap that day though. And wasn't an International (for good reason)

Would like to see him down the middle actually, think he might have something to offer.
