Whilst I'm loving where we are at at present, and don't get me wrong - may it last forever, I've a small seed of doubt about our overall performances, so the away game at Arsenal will be a good pointer as to where we 'actually' are with regard to team playing and strengths. If you were to ask me how the season, as a general whole, for all teams is going, then I'd say that the 'usual suspects' aren't playing at their best (Liverpool earlier in the season - good example) - which is making us look good - hence the comment above about the Arsenal game. Personally - I think we'll end up some where in the top 7, and I'd really like us to get to a cup final - that then would be a catalyst for the future as then being able to attract a better calibre of player.

My world cup form is still with me - as on 24 pts with one game to go.

I think what the first quote is saying, and I may be wrong here - so please do correct me, is that Villareal didn't have a history, as in they have no illustrious past to compare to, nor 'live up' as it's an expectation of the fans that that's where they should be, ie in the top flight division, and winning trophys. Don't get me wrong - I'm loving where we are in the league - but ask me if this will last - then I have to honestly answer - No. We'll no doubt finish top half - where - any ones guess. Reasoning for my slightly negative answer is, that whilst we seem to have a decent, and can fall back on people, defence, the front line consists of one person - Wilson (at present) for the person to score the goals. Yes, Miggy has added a few, but if you look at other teams they have attackers in depth - which is something we don't. I think it will be a time will tell answer for Isak, hopefully he'll be the real deal, but in January if we want to 'really' be pressing for that top 6 finish then at least 3 new players are needed. An attacking Midfielder / forward, and two 'wing players'.

How about Chelsea - United a draw. We beat Spurs. We'd then be in the top 4 !!!
