No. Clark better in the air and will know their play better would be my guess. Don't know - Rafa's pretty ruthless. Not too bothered tbh, I'm a big fan of Mbemba, but you have to earn the shirt. Based on one performance? not to mention there was over 400 mins without a goal conceded. Besides i don't see what Clark has done to " earn the shirt" a bit ridiculous to say Mbemba hasn't earned it either. I doubt there is anything into it like that, Rafa has rotated plenty of players and played Colback right after Hayden had a great performance and i wouldn't say he earned that start.

of course you don't

Could play for another 5 years and he'd still be an upgrade on Colback.

is it the haircut?

Expecting British football commentators to pronounce a forrin name properly.

Another start for Pulisic
-
Don't really care what happens to him now tbh
-
This. Yeah, unfortunately. Because he'd be much better than Colback next to Shelvey when Hayden needs a break. But he's done and a shithead, so it's rather moot I suppose.

Maybe he's just a brilliant #2.

I find it staggering that people would take promotion over a cup. This club has won ONE trophy in my lifetime. I'm old. Fairs cup? or you are an old bugger It's the new generation unfortunately, there brought up that the premier league is the be all and end all but in reality it's not. The football league has 92 teams in it not 20 Of course staying in the top division is the aim(whatever they call it) but it's not success, not really silverware is I'd do anything to see us win a cup, who remembers that team that finishes 17th and just stays up? Nothings guaranteed but I do feel that if we don't get promoted this year, we will eventually, it will just take longer Here comes the unpopular opinion of the day: the cups aren't nearly as important as they used to be. Not even close. I absolutely want us to do well in cups and hope we do win one, but between the choices presented here, it's promotion 10/10 times for me. Basically this question is crap, because extrapolation is inevitable and I don't like how things look if we don't achieve promotion this season. Its all opinion I guess, you are right people aren't as bothered about the cup as they used to be ( as this pole proves) If we asked this in 1989 would the majority pick promotion or cup win? I think they would be cup win. . To me though, the urge for success and silverware has grown even more It is a real shame, as I do love a proper tournament. Why I generally find the CL, World Cup, Euros, etc. to be more intriguing than the league. The cups are the great equalizer, a chance for the small fish of English football to have at the giants. I wish they were as prominent as in the past, a truly great part of English footballing culture that I'll unfortunately never get to experience.

Well a minute is a hell of a long time. 10 seconds and be done with it. Infinitely better than having to clap for any period of time. It takes folk 10 seconds to shut up, though. fair

Something's gone very wrong this season if we fail to get promoted. No cup win can paper over that.

I think it's spot on tbh. Moment of silence is far more appropriate.

Mandanda and Benteke the only non-Brits in Palace's XI. The King must be creaming himself.
-
Bet the King would love to swoop in and take them off Hughes's hands.
-
I would say Pogba and Zlatan are their only elite players at the moment, the squad is not great at all. Maybe Bailly as time goes on. Mata, if he could actually get minutes.

Darlow Yedlin Clark Hanley Lazaar Ritchie Shelvey Hayden Gouffran Gayle Mitrovic

Can't help but feel he just screws up the entire formation.
