    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Donyell Malen rumored to us, ManU, and Chelsea in an Italian paper via the Manchester Evening News

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

If City would accept roughly what we were offering for Trafford last summer, we should pull the trigger. He’s clearly been the player we’ve coveted the most at that position for several years, and I don’t think there’s much doubt about his ability to hit the ground running.

Brighton would presumably rake us over the coals for Verbruggen
  4. People love inventing a version of him that they can hate on.
  5. He’ll likely have his pick of quite a few big clubs in multiple leagues. ManU feels like the natural landing spot, but I think Carrick may have performed his way into the permanent gig.
  6. Hall was a half decent pickup despite signing from a cartel club, turns out. Willock, too. Could name at least a few fringe players at each cartel club who’d be very good additions for the right price.
  7. Jones is a perfectly fine PL player. But so is Jacob Ramsey. If we got him on the cheap and he wasn’t expected to directly replace Tonali or Bruno, I’d be fine with signing him. He’d also be on a hiding to nothing here, being a Scouser n’ all. Gotta replace Gordon as the Scouse boogeyman I suppose.
  8. If you count converted penalties as goals against, he’s basically responsible for relegating us

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Curtis Jones strikes me as one that Howe would push for, and would’ve gotten last year, but will be vetoed by Wilson this summer.
  10. City winning the league for the 7th time in the last 9 seasons would be so grim. Don’t particularly care about Arsenal winning it…at least it’s been 20+ years for them.

  12. You posted a list of the managers with the most wins and how many games it took each to reach that number of wins…Keegan did it in 14 fewer games. Having the most wins is an accomplishment for sure and Howe will likely achieve that before season’s end. And yes his track record is largely why he’s coming back for next season. But if we’re 13th this time next season, our winningest ever manager, with a cup win under his belt, will rightfully be sacked.
  13. By that list, Keegan is statistically our most successful manager. And simply having the most wins wouldn’t be cause for keeping a manager who would otherwise deserve the sack. The disgruntled supporters weren’t arriving at that point out of nowhere. Before the weekend we’d lost 9 out of the previous 12 league games, in a season in which we’ve played the worst football of Howe’s tenure.
  14. They went out and bought a team ready-made for Xabi Alonso before hiring Xabi Alonso.
  15. If not with ManU, Carrick is certain to get a permanent gig with some PL club this summer.
  16. Can’t knock his effort or production lately, but we’d be utterly insane to go into next season relying on him.

    Jacob Murphy

Credit to him for sticking with the play and not going down to try to draw the foul, like a lot of whiny twats would’ve done.
  18. Build up for that Brighton goal was pure sex
  19. Can I say something brave, yet controversial? Snide 2-1 win.
  20. Should create a closed shop purgatory league for the yo-yo clubs like Burnley, Southampton, et. al. Make them play there for a few seasons before they can rejoin the system.
  21. A refresh of the coaching staff is nearly as important as a squad refresh
  22. Can we just get a new training ground, investment in the academy, and a decision on what the hell we’re doing with SJP
