It’s odd that we don’t really draw matches. 6 draws each of the last 3 seasons (so far), good enough for bottom or near to it. Obviously we’ve done well to convert 1 point into 3 at times, but we also just lose a lot of matches.

Can’t be bothered about the price tag at this point (and I don’t think it’s all that egregious for a PL-proven CM in this day and age, albeit another cause for looking abroad instead of domestically). He’s here now and a solid if underwhelming PL player.

I like Ramsey, think he’s a great player to have in rotation.

Good analysis. A midfield that includes both Tonali and Bruno is crying out for a proper holding midfielder. Someone to snuff out attacks and pick up the ball from the backline. Allows Tonali to move box-to-box, allows Bruno to make plays.

Unless we end up under threat of relegation, which is extremely unlikely, I don’t see the point of Eddie moving on/being moved on before the end of the season.

See we’re doing that obnoxious thing again where every one of our players is suddenly “shite,” rather than considering them in the context of the team playing poorly as a whole. As long as the team itself continues to struggle, I’ll mostly be judging our guys by attitude and effort.
