Cardiff offered nothing in the way of midfield pressure in the first half, giving Tiote (and the others) time on the ball, making him look like a competent midfielder. I watched the match and it was hardly his best performance, but I can't say he was "torn to shreds." It matters not I suppose. Whoever we play at CB against Liverpool will get bummed by S+S.

I struggle to comprehend his in-game thought-processes. High-pressure attacking footballing in the first half yields 2 goals and an utterly toothless Cardiff attack. Sit back and defend in the second half almost loses us the 3 points. Same story nearly every week.
