Who has MLS? ESPN, right? They probably deserve to lose that too. NBC does an MLS GOTW starting this season. It's not bad tbf. And MLS.com streams one free game live every week. But other than that, it's hard to get quality MLS on TV. I know either MSG or YES do the Red Bull games, so it might just be loads of local coverage but no national outfit? No MLS Game of the week kind of thing? Referring to ESPN? Local coverage is definitely there for most markets. TSN covers Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver really well, Philly gets CSN I think, etc.

I'm very excited to watch MYM develop at CB. Watching him play you can tell he's just oozing with talent. Was arguably the best CB in Ligue 1 before the transfer. Once he gets settled and figures out the pace of the PL, he'll be a staunch CB for us. Took Colo some time to acclimate as well.

Williamson was costing us a goal every other game (at best) for the part of the season he was in the team. Not unlike Taylor in the last 2 home games then? Fair point, neither are good enough if want to be successful long term. Exactly, Williamson gets more criticism as he's an easy target compared to S Taylor. They're looking to build demand. Flooding the market with PL games is sure to increase the popularity of the sport, certainly more than one or two ESPN games a week. Tons of potential for the PL in the U.S. This deal might actually be harmful to MLS. MLS games are awesome live, but the quality of televised PL games easily blows away anything MLS puts on TV.

He and Taarabt are sure to have suitors this offseason. Hoilett too perhaps. Not great suitors. He's a PL-quality AM. Not a world beater, but he can hold his own.

Couldn't bare to watch that shower of shite today, so don't know how he did. But unsurprising that, as with Simpson, he's much less hated when he's used as nothing more than his maximum worth, a reasonable back up. I feel good with Williamson as 4th choice CB, Simpson back-up RB. That's the kind of depth we need.
