I was on a flight to Faro last Sunday with this lot. I was sat directly behind Jack Ross and I was a little bit drunk when I got on the plane, resulting in a few little digs at them (all taken in good humour). However, at the end of the flight I spoke with the manager about signings, the size of the squad and their ambition for the season. He didn't even try to hide the fact he's pissed off with the lack of money available and the current state of the squad. I asked how many players he had and he replied "19 I think it is today, some of them wont be here next week and half of them are kids". He was a decent enough bloke actually and was just laughing about the wind ups at the start of the flight. He also said it's almost certain they wont spend a single penny.

Could be equally as bad, that's about it. Sweepstakes are a pet hate of mine. Pay £1 and hope you one of about 4 teams, if not the whole thing is pointless. Isn't that the whole point of a sweepstake? It's a gamble like any other. Much better when envelopes are closed until the end though. Yep - I'm in where we're doing that - meeting for the final and opening before! Our football team also have one which we opened the envelopes on Sunday - I picked two - Saudia Arabia and Panama £20 in the bin! Aye, we're doing that at the cricket club. Envelope draw and everyone gets together to watch the final and open envelopes. Just come in this thread because I've got world cup excitement today for some reason.

Love watching La Liga on a Saturday and Sunday night. Just have to hope it's available somewhere.

Couldn't agree more. All round decent club with a nice ground to visit. They also play decent football nowadays so would be a welcome addition.

British Manager's Club for me. The Manager's Club is immense, I'd probably say the Scottish tales overall. They don't crop up as often as they used to though. Yeah that's a great one as well. "Plenty of tit to spare" always makes me crease as well.

Gangs of the EPL has always been my favourite, but the recent Peter Beardsley jokes have had me in hysterics.

Marcus Rashford is hilarious as well, another that is rarely used.

Just listened to the most recent episode on the way to work this morning, had the car window down which resulted in some weird looks from people at traffic lights and crossings The Harry Kane impression gets me every time.

As long as they don't touch Xmas it might be bearable. Can't wait until they do this for "rest" though and then whisk squads off to the arse end of nowhere to play in friendly tournaments.
