And because it directly clashes with Sutton vs Arsenal, so if you were a neutral and on the fence, you might be a bit more tempted by our game. -

Some huge games coming up in the Championship over the next 9 days, but Sky are going overboard massively advertising the wrong one. Tuesday Huddersfield vs Reading, not on Sky because of the Champions League television rule Hopefully a draw here, or because they are a point behind and played a game more, if someone had to win, then Reading. Saturday 12.30pm Leeds vs Sheffield Wednesday, Sky A week or 2 ago we would have preferred a Sheff Wed win, but after 4 straight wins and Leeds only getting 7 points from the 18 available, Sheff Wed are in a better position now, with both on 58 points but Leeds have played a game more. Ideally a draw, but if there was a winnder i'd want it to be Leeds as they have some tough games coming up Saturday 5.30pm Brighton vs Reading, sky If Reading beat Huddersfield on Tuesday then i'd probably want Brighton to win, so then 3rd and 4th will have lost a game giving us a chance to put a bit of distance to 3rd place. If Reading draw / lose to Huddersfield then i'd probably want a draw here, or if we have got 2 wins against Villa and Bristol before this match then we'd be 11/12 clear of Reading so probably wouldn't mind them winning then obviously Brighton vs Newcastle on Sky a week on Tuesday. Some massive games there mind and the picture will probably look a lot clearer after these games. -
Addison getting the vast majority of the stick on Twitter. Used to be so highly rated as well. Comes on with 10 mins to go and at fault for both of the goals

Huddersfield have made 7 changes today and only 1 would be considered a regular first team player. A bit disappointed but you can see why Wagner has done it with a big game on Tuesday vs Reading.

Lee Clark leaving Kilmarnock for Bury today. Wonder where that leaves the 3 lads on loan from here, particularly Woodman as their number 1 McDonald is very popular there, highly rated and seemingly was just dropped due to a falling out with Clark. Would be a shame if Woodman dropped to the bench, and utterly pointless. May as well be back here.

Barnsley vs Brighton in the league. Hopefully Brighton continue their mini slump and a chance to see Adam Armstrong Plus Huddersfield vs Man City in the cup. That's a big game and will be very interesting to see how Hudders approach it. Will they field a weakened side like us, Leeds and Brighton in the fourth round and accept a very likely exit, or being at home, will they attack the game and play their strongest possible team given that it might be the biggest game for some of their younger fans. They've sold around 23,000 so it looks like a sell out and with City having Monaco a few days later, it could be a chance for them to cause a real upset especially as they are so strong at home. But then again, Hudders have Reading 3 days later in the league. Very interesting game though.

Looks like it. Was thinking Villa away but we were slight 6/4 favourites there. Mind, some of the bookies can't split us and we are the same odds, but most have Norwich a fraction shorter.

I'd say it's mainly because they have been on TV twice very recently against 2 of our biggest rivals, deservedly won both games and are also in excellent form. They also went to Norwich a couple of months ago which was also televised and won which very few sides have done this season. Apart from a home defeat to QPR a couple of months ago, i can't remember the last time Reading were on TV. -
That Boro game will be moved if Boro do something that we couldn't and overcome Oxford in the cup. They are at home though.

You can't imagine Bristol City being too good, but the following does sound encouraging (from .com): But the breakthrough finally came in the first minute of added time when Fernandez tricked his way into the box and pulled the ball back for Vuckic to thump home to make it three in three games since his return from being out on loan. It took just 43 seconds of the second half for United to double the lead when Fernandez wormed his way into the box and somehow managed to stab the ball home from a tight angle. And it was that lad Fernandez again on 53 minutes, setting up another for Vuckic with a cross from the left that gave the Slovenian his second with a simple finish from six yards.

Thing is they've been pretty consistent since the start of December. We obviously beat them in crazy circumstances at the end of September and they won a couple after that, they did go on a 5 match losing streak in the league from the end of October to the end of November which also included a league cup exit as well but since then they have been pretty consistent - they are just very good at home but pretty poor away. We couldn't have played them in that Oct-Nov period as we just played them in September and you'll never play someone twice before December, and since then they haven't lost more than 2 on the trot. They've won 6 of 7 games at home since the end of Nov (the only defeat being Huddersfield), whereas away that win at Cardiff the other week was their first away since October 1st, and in their 10 away games since then they have won 1, drawn 3 and lost 6. Their home record is better than ours, we've played the same number of games, and they've won more, lost less, scored more, conceded less. Away to Norwich is always a tricky game and would have been whenever the game was scheduled. I'd definitely take a point and hopefully that is backed up by 2 following wins at home

After going on a decent run, you'd expect a degree of confidence from fans and a messageboard, but a good % of those on the below forum think they have a great chance of automatic, and it would be us not Brighton who they are most confident of catching - that will be more down to them still having to play us and our other remaining fixtures: http://downatthemac.proboards.com/thread/103570/automatic It will be very interesting to see how they approach their game against City on Saturday. They are a step further and playing at home unlike Leeds, ourselves and Brighton in the last round o you'd think / hope they'd play a fairly strong team and attack the game, but then again, they probably do think they have bigger fish to fry this season. Mooy, one of their better players is ineligible as he is on loan from City. It's a shame this isn't televised as it is one of the better looking games to me. A full strength team and a televised replay would be decent. -
I see the U18s lost 4-0 at Man Utd the other day with pretty much the same team used in the FA Youth Cup run. Obviously a decent crowd backing them at SJP may help to some extent vs Spurs in the quarter final but the result doesn't bode well.
-
Full round of championship, league one and league two games on so think i'll put a bet on and watch SSN and hopefully they have the goals as they go in again rather than watching PSG vs Barcelona
-
My mate had a bet on at the start of the season for all our matches to have at least 1 goal in it. He can't cash out, but reckons he will cover 0-0 for the last 3 games if it is still going at that point
-
I do this pretty much every season and have made big money in the past few seasons. I saw they were 9/2 at 365 before Palace but thought i'd wait until after that game, they obviously must have shortened significantly after that win but come back out a bit now. Think i'll wait until after their next 2 games as they are Eveton A and Man City H. If they get 2, 3, 4 or 6 from those then i'll probably have lost my chance, but if they get 0 and others (who play each other) put a few wins together then they might go out to 6s and then i'll lump on. I always want them to still go down, but if they do stay up then at least i've made about £100+ out of it.

Yep, the seasons completely over if we came away with a draw
-
What do we reckon is the worst outcome for Sunderland in the Swansea-Leicester game? A draw will be best for them, but not sure which will be worse if either win.
