The only way to get rid of Ashley is to find a buyer.
-
I've already posted this elsewhere, but it still seems right to me, so whilst I'm hesitant to post this here for the backlash I might get: I Didn't watch the game. I didn't listen to it. I got in at about five and found out we lost to the Mackems... ...and I don't really feel like I give a shit. That's not usual - but it feels like emotionally I've divorced myself from NUFC. I've got no pride or hope in or excitement for the club any more. Maybe I'm just finished with football. (I've always been a Newcastle fan rather than a football fan.) I'm perfectly ready for the accusation of fair-weather or whatever, but that's how it feels.

Drop Cisse. Play HBA behind Remy. Marv in midfield for HBA. -
Reckon Carr might walk after this. Wasting his time here.

Word is, that the potential buying of Rangers is unrelated to any sale of us.

Drove past him coming out of his house this morning at about 8.00.

Kinnear couldn't appoint the date for a meeting.

http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/newcastle-uniteds-cunning-summer-transfer-plan/ I think that's me finished with football. My club has slowly ripped the p*ss, the passion and any pride I ever had out of me over the last five years. I can't do this any more.

Often, I wonder if Ashley bought us for some mad negative reason. Maybe a Geordie beat up his mother or something, and he wants revenge? -He got us relegated with a series of bewildering decisions. - He failed to appoint a manager, bewilderingly. - Hughton got us promoted (by accident) so he got sacked when he was doing an OK job. - They appointed a failed manager, who accidentally got us to fifth. - Last season was a return to form, and how he wants to see the job through so that NUFc goes into liquidation. I know that's nuts - but it does make this latest thing make sense. Anyone else?

You could put Pardew in charge of a combined Citeh and Chelsea side and they'd be shit.

Here you go: http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/alan-pardew-hopeful-keeping-captain-3867014

As has already been alluded to on here - you get older, and you realise what matters most. You also realise you can't control or even influence what happens to NUFC. Certainly I try to give less of a shit because there's enough in life to stress me anyway. If we go down I'll be gutted for a day, or a week, and then I'll get on with it. I don't expect any pleasure from following NUFC now, which is why I barely bother watching or listening any more. (A shameful admission, I know). I was much the same last season, I think I may have just gained a sense of perspective.

No way. Pegswoods full of mongs. Watch it.

Keep him away from that knacker Ranger.

So, if you think about it, is Graham Carr our DOF?

Never forget - Alan Pardew is an anagram of Warped Anal

One thing Soton did get right was having a new man lined up before the sacking. If we do get rid, we must do that - no time for a rudderless ship with Captain Carver.

We're not quite in crisis yet - the Media are waiting for crisis to be inevitable and then they'll have their day. * I know my last post was batshit-crazy. But it helps to get this mad crap out sometimes.

My theory is that Ashley hates us, and wants us to be destroyed. Maybe a Geordie lad shagged his mam or something? He bought us to destroy us, and appointed Hughton. But we came up by accident - so he had to sack Hughton to get us off the road to success. He then appoints a shit manager who looks sort of half-credible. He then has a spawny season: http://englishfootballpatient.wordpress.com/2013/01/14/what-happened-to-newcastle/ so he fails to invest and hopes that history will repeat itself. He only ever does just enough to seem credible - if we go down this time, we will NOT come straight back up. * I know this all sounds mental, but still....

If Pardew can't change tactics *before* a game what chance do we have of him doing so *during* a game? I now refer you to the Arsenal game substitutions.

Means nothing to me, sorry. If it's not an original observation, the I apologise. Never seen his missus before.

Is Cabaye married to the 1980s Michaela Strachan?

Aye - Ryder will always support you if you're reliable leaker.

Yep, pretty much that. SDA is here to stay - he also loves the free publicity he gets whenever anyone on the BBC names the arena as he's got round their advertising ban. Everything he does is for Sports Direct - which is sort of fair enough - we're a big part of his marketing arm. But he's also a businessman and we're part of the business which is why we're sponsored externally. But if it comes to NUFC vs SD, then SD wins every time. We serve the greater purpose. Mike Ashley doesn't like being told what he can and can't do - it's almost what drives him at times. Part of the reason he owns us is because he wanted to shut up Dave Whelan. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/jul/08/mike-ashley-bankrolls-jjb-chairman So in terms of the Olympics, 'his' stadium and what you can and can not do, it's all entirely predictable and par for the course.
