Let's say for instance the PL lawyers look at all this and the feedback to masters is "we're fucked, they have damming evidence against us" would they still bother with arbitration? If masters woke up this morning and thought to himself I'm gonna let the takeover go through, wouldn't he just allow them to re-do the test or pass the current one stuck in limbo? Why waste time with arbitration? Is he now binded to an arbitration agreement perhaps? It just feels the PL are still willing to fight which is where I am confused as to where all the confidence is coming from on our side.

I was thinking along these lines earlier. I mean if the PL are willing to get this done then why go ahead with arbitration? I absolutely love and appreciate the leaks or itks the people post on here but it's all confidence from the club/buyers side. The crucial info would be from how the PL are seeing things. I mean if they are confident an agreement can be reached then its takeover bath time, but I haven't seen a single leak regarding the PL's stance. That being said, I'm getting excited day by day and it's looking positive, however we need to remember that it was "days not weeks" in the summer and it crashed.

I'd play dubrovnik. Give him 4 or 5 games back in the team and see how we get on. No harm in rotating the GK's every few games anyway, if you've got 2 quality keepers in the squad it's strange to play one every game and the other just in Cup games.

Just finished watching the show with NCSL,I always supported what they are doing, but criticised his letter that it didn't come across as professional enough,which in my opinion you needed when writing to the PM. However after seeing his enthusiasm and passion for not just the takeover, but Newcastle United itself, I can fully understand why that letter was written in that way. He comes across as a top bloke and some of the things he said are answers that we've been wanting for months. Things are really going to heat up soon it seems.

This is a response about Ben Jacobs thread alluding there maybe a different set up to the takeover. e.g Aramco or private investors. Getting sponsed by Aramco would give us huge swing in FPP wouldn't it? I don't think the deal will be restructed, but surely Aramco will be involved somewhere.

If true that the O&D test has changed,then I'm sorry but that's really really bad news for us. I always thought it would change but as our takeover started under the old test, then that would be applied.

Find it strange how Mimms said Liam Kennedy has a very good source and is worth listening too, along with the NCSL are just a side show to keep the main consortium out of the media. Yet Liam Kennedy literally brings news up from last year (and has regular big stories about what's going on) and makes out its breaking news, all bringing the consortium back into the media spotlight. That just doesn't add up. I think the only news/ leaks that matter are how the PL are viewing everything. Are they willing to negotiate or are they still not wanting this to happen under no uncertain terms. That is crucial info that as far as I know nobody has had any "reliable" info on.
