All of these at the time of appointment were so so bad in a tactical knowledge sense. Just absurd why you would take such a big risk on any of these with no proof of actual success. It's all about doing what you're told and to not bad mouth Ashley as we know, but surely he had better options than these? Kinnear was the strangest one, he was disconnected from management for so so long, was obvious he was going to use out dated tactics and systems, immediately putting the club under pressure with poor results and performances.

If its true that it was only sent to a number of clubs though and not all, that's a positive for the buyers/sellers and a negative for Bein/PL in my opinion.

So Kennedy is implying that the letter he has posted tonight is the actual letter that was sent, and contains more than what was published in April. That Ben Jacobs saying he had seen the full letter in April and it didn't contain the stuff that Kennedy has made public. (mainly the fact that Bein strongly oppose the takeover) So it's pick who you believe really, either Bein leaked that letter in April and decide to hide bits, or Kennedy is risking everything by showing off a letter that had been tampered with.

Tbf he is right. That letter was published by the chronicle in April. Unless they have quickly updated the article to include the contents of that letter, the letter was there in full.

I keep seeing Liam Kennedy etc saying more news will come out in January. I don't understand this, if something has happened surely it would have come out now? It sounds like something is happening and the end/result will come in January hence "more news to come". I don't think it's the arbitration but cannot think what else it could be.

I have to agree, as soon as I read that letter my instant reaction was embarrassment. I'm supportive of what NCSL are doing, but if you're writing to the Prime minister, you must act and sound professional. That letter really isn't, even if they do raise some excellent points, it should have been presented in a much better way than that. There's no way a legal professional looked at that and said, "yep that's fine, post it"

We all know what's going to happen. The legal action will allow the takeover, but due to our free falling in the PL, PIF will wait until we mathematically avoid relegation, that won't happen and they will walk away for good.... Apologies for being so negative

According to twitter Ashley's plane/chopper flew down to Bournemouth today then back up to Newcastle. Howe is having a meeting with Charnley. Steve Bruce's House is up for sale (seen pictures of this from an estate agent but no idea if it's indeed where he cooks his bacon) Thought this is definitely the appropriate thread.
