Norwich struggle to stop conceding in their home games having only 4 clean sheets out of their 15 games ,but also they tend to score as they have in 12 out of 15 games. Very likely we will concede in this unless Rafa can work his magic in time,so we need our attackers to be on their game. Norwich keepers Declan Rudd and John Ruddy are vulnerable to making errors so I hope we pepper their goal at every opportunity.Long shots, deflections, rebounds, everything. Would like to see maybe Perez dropped and Cisse alongside Mitro as I'm positive 1 of them will be able to get a goal. Bringing Perez on late on will be a nice option too.

Out until the end of April according to Physioroom

This may lighten the mood a little. Last season's table at around the same number of games. Leicester were 4 points adrift of safety, whereas we are only 3 points adrift AND have a game in hand (and a better manager ) Also look at us,35 points after 30 games and it still came down to the last game of that season. This season Palace have 33 after 30 games and Swansea have 36 after 31 games. They are definitely not safe yet. http://s8.postimg.org/uxiscsqmd/image.png If we can hit 38 points as long as we get wins from Norwich,Swansea and Palace,I think that will be enough.

Is Redmond out for this game? Bonus if so as even though he is inconsistent he can be a big threat when he plays well.
-
There is still so much that can happen,we've got 8 games to go with 24 points on offer. Who knows we could now go on a mental run and go unbeaten until the end of the season
-
Knew he would score today. That goal will give him a massive confidence boost which is exactly what he (and we) need at the moment.

Apparently Sunderland have the easiest run in, though I have no idea what any of them are other than we still have Norwich, Spurs, Villa and City to play again. Not easy at all,of their remaining games the only one I can see them getting a win is their next,West Brom at home (judging by how poor West Brom were against us). After that I can see a mixture of losses and draws.

Most of the media talking as Norwich are home and dry,we're only 3 points behind them with a game in hand. Still so many points to play for I'm still confident we can do it. Only thing that worries me is scoring goals. We have the manager that can win us games and now with Cisse back maybe we can start scoring again.

Joke of a player. People actually applauding him when he was subbed

Wasn't the fact that it was delayed for so long because ashley was out of the country and we had to wait for him to come back?

Jason Roberts The whole point of trying to survive a relegation battle is needing a manager who wins games, as that kind of helps in that situation.

I could see signs of a change after 3 days. Same. I remember looking at the screen v Leicester and at one point our defence and midfield were so beautifully organised it was incredible.
-
Or a CB and a LB for £1M each and then we can bid £78M for Lacazette.
-
Just had a quick tally up and I have it as Newcastle 35 points Sunderland 32 points Norwich 32 points. That's with us getting a draw on Sunday.
-
Swansea certainly aren't safe yet, and we still have them to play at home. They have an easy game at home to Villa on Saturday but a very tough run in. Games against Chelsea,Liverpool,Leicester,West Ham and Man City

Ordered to appear before MP's http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-derbyshire-35811254

This. Sunderland draw no bet is 2.62 which is not far off twice the amount of your stake. Definitely something to soften the blow.

Does anyone think he may stay with us if we go down? I know it's absurd to imagine Rafa Benitez as a manager in the Championship but he said himself he see's us as a long term project. I can't see him wanting to manage abroad again as he's been there and done it,plus he turned down offers from abroad before joining us. I have a slight feeling he would be prepared to stay,as he just doesn't seem the sort of man who could walk away knowing that we would be desperate for stability. Knowing our luck,it will be Ashley who activates the clause, just so he can pay some shit manager 6k a year.

Are his post match comments/video anywhere? Can't find anything on Sky website

We would have definitely got a win against Bournemouth if Rafa had been here.
-
Seems he has spent most of his time training the defence,no way can you expect to re-train defence AND attack in just 3 days. Definitely the right thing to do as we came so close to getting a point out of that. Think we will improve week after week and definitely believe he will keep us up.
