  1. The only slight glimmer of hope I have of Rafa staying is that I feel he would see it as though he has failed. The man is a pure winner,so meticulous in his preparation etc and I can't see him walking away until he is satisfied with what he has achieved here. He's the sort of man that would feel he owes us,even though in reality he doesn't owe us anything and in fact it's us that owes him for coming here and giving us the best possible chance of staying up. Just a shame the players are a bunch of cowards who can't even play basic football.
  2. After it was 2-2 Rafa was pointing to his head giving out the keep concentration signal. He's helpless to how s*** we are and it's an embarrassment if any of our fans blame him for anything. We could have Ferguson,Mourinho and Pep as a joint management team and we would still lose every game. The squad is all smoke and no fire. Full of International players who can't play a 5 yard pass or track a man when he runs past.
  3. After 31 games last season Leicester were exactly the same as us right now. 6 W, 7 D, 18 L on 25 points. However they were only 3 points away from safety with 1 game in hand, whereas we are 6 points away. We beat Southampton and Man City at home and we're back on but anything less that that and we're down. I think we all know what will happen
  4. What do you have to do to be a gold customer and what can of offers and bonus' do you get?
  5. Imagine the uproar if we went down and benitez left the club, and days later announced that he wanted to stay but the club refused to keep him in charge. Full scale riot mode should hopefully entail.
  6. I feel the total opposite. I think they can get a win against West Brom at home in their next game but can''t see them getting another win after that. Home games they have Leicester,Arsenal,Everton and Chelsea. Not an easy win in any of those. Away they have Norwich,Stoke and Watford. Norwich away could be anything, likely to win just as likely to lose. And Stoke and Watford away won't be an easy 3 points,Watford maybe the only game were they have the best chance of 3 points. From paper I can see a total of 7 points from those games. (W against West Brom,D at Norwich and W against Watford.
  7. Thank fuck Elliott didn't play and get injured.
  8. Everytime I open this thread it contains some link or story about rafa which impresses me more and more. The man is an absolute gift from the football God's and it will be a sad sad day when he leaves the club.

    Massadio Haïdara

Can we not emergency loan a left back because we clearly have a fucking emergency.
  10. If you believe Football Manager has any credibility he used to play there, and was a huge prospect in that position.
  11. Sickening to think that Rafa Benitez would want to stay with us and get us out of the Championship, and the board go "no thanks, your too expensive" "We'll phone Nigel Pearson"
  12. Norwich struggle to stop conceding in their home games having only 4 clean sheets out of their 15 games ,but also they tend to score as they have in 12 out of 15 games. Very likely we will concede in this unless Rafa can work his magic in time,so we need our attackers to be on their game. Norwich keepers Declan Rudd and John Ruddy are vulnerable to making errors so I hope we pepper their goal at every opportunity.Long shots, deflections, rebounds, everything. Would like to see maybe Perez dropped and Cisse alongside Mitro as I'm positive 1 of them will be able to get a goal. Bringing Perez on late on will be a nice option too.
  13. This may lighten the mood a little. Last season's table at around the same number of games. Leicester were 4 points adrift of safety, whereas we are only 3 points adrift AND have a game in hand (and a better manager ) Also look at us,35 points after 30 games and it still came down to the last game of that season. This season Palace have 33 after 30 games and Swansea have 36 after 31 games. They are definitely not safe yet. http://s8.postimg.org/uxiscsqmd/image.png If we can hit 38 points as long as we get wins from Norwich,Swansea and Palace,I think that will be enough.
  14. Is Redmond out for this game? Bonus if so as even though he is inconsistent he can be a big threat when he plays well.
  15. There is still so much that can happen,we've got 8 games to go with 24 points on offer. Who knows we could now go on a mental run and go unbeaten until the end of the season
  16. Knew he would score today. That goal will give him a massive confidence boost which is exactly what he (and we) need at the moment.
  17. Apparently Sunderland have the easiest run in, though I have no idea what any of them are other than we still have Norwich, Spurs, Villa and City to play again. Not easy at all,of their remaining games the only one I can see them getting a win is their next,West Brom at home (judging by how poor West Brom were against us). After that I can see a mixture of losses and draws.
  18. Most of the media talking as Norwich are home and dry,we're only 3 points behind them with a game in hand. Still so many points to play for I'm still confident we can do it. Only thing that worries me is scoring goals. We have the manager that can win us games and now with Cisse back maybe we can start scoring again.
  19. Joke of a player. People actually applauding him when he was subbed
  20. Wasn't the fact that it was delayed for so long because ashley was out of the country and we had to wait for him to come back?
  21. Jason Roberts The whole point of trying to survive a relegation battle is needing a manager who wins games, as that kind of helps in that situation.

I could see signs of a change after 3 days. Same. I remember looking at the screen v Leicester and at one point our defence and midfield were so beautifully organised it was incredible.
  23. Or a CB and a LB for £1M each and then we can bid £78M for Lacazette.
  24. Just had a quick tally up and I have it as Newcastle 35 points Sunderland 32 points Norwich 32 points. That's with us getting a draw on Sunday.
