Still think he would improve us by taking Sissoko's place at RW. Sissoko is a liability and an absolute fraud of a winger. At lease with Janmaat there he can cross a ball better than Sissoko and will offer more help defensively.

I'm not giving up all hope just yet. It's looking highly unlikely for sure but that's mainly due to the players and not the upcoming fixtures. The sooner we drop Janmaat, Taylor, and Moussa the more chance we will have. We can get wins against Swansea, Palace and Villa,and I do feel we can sneak something out of either Man City at home and Spurs at home. Wewin those first 3 games and Sunderland/Norwich drop points we have a lifeline. We just need to sort the starting 11. Would much prefer a Palace win. We're six points behind Norwich with a game in hand. If they lose to Palace and we somehow beat Southampton and Man City then we are neck and neck with a much better run in then them. Even if we don't win against Southampton and Man City we still have chances to get those points playing easier teams that what Norwich will be facing.

The only slight glimmer of hope I have of Rafa staying is that I feel he would see it as though he has failed. The man is a pure winner,so meticulous in his preparation etc and I can't see him walking away until he is satisfied with what he has achieved here. He's the sort of man that would feel he owes us,even though in reality he doesn't owe us anything and in fact it's us that owes him for coming here and giving us the best possible chance of staying up. After 31 games last season Leicester were exactly the same as us right now. 6 W, 7 D, 18 L on 25 points. However they were only 3 points away from safety with 1 game in hand,whereas we are 6 points away. We beat Southampton and Man City at home and we're back on but anything less that that and we're down. I think we all know what will happen

I feel the total opposite. I think they can get a win against West Brom at home in their next game but can''t see them getting another win after that. Home games they have Leicester,Arsenal,Everton and Chelsea. Not an easy win in any of those. Away they have Norwich,Stoke and Watford. Norwich away could be anything,likely to win just as likely to lose. And Stoke and Watford away won't be an easy 3 points,Watford maybe the only game were they have the best chance of 3 points. From paper I can see a total of 7 points from those games. (W against West Brom,D at Norwich and W against Watford.

Everytime I open this thread it contains some link or story about rafa which impresses me more and more. The man is an absolute gift from the football God's and it will be a sad sad day when he leaves the club.
