  1. You better not read what Ian.W just posted in the match thread, you'll go volcanic. I won't because I don't think anyone who disagrees with me is aggressively trying to argue with me. I understand where he is coming from, but I think he's wrong. I don't buy into clubs have moved so far ahead of us. We are falling further behind. We looked a shambles last night. Again where does the buck stop? Say what you want about players signed but he should be getting the best out what he has at his disposal. He quite clearly isn't. Nor has he for some time. This to me suggests he has no clue whatsoever about how to address our decline. Saying Man City are too good is just being a Pardew apologist. What we witnessed on the pitch last night was evidence of our shortcomings the fact we played an expensive and good team just brought it into sharper focus. FWIW I don't think Pardew is getting the best out of what he has either. I've never, ever said that. But at the same time, Man City are too good. Yeah, I know you haven't. I just feel that when you say Man City are too good you're letting that performance off the hook. There was a lot wrong last night irrespective of the opposition. You shouldn't let their quality denigrate from the problems we have.

  3. Manchester City aren't this tidal wave of world football. They are a good team made up of very good players but to suggest we should expect to be that outclassed by them as of right?! A well drilled team could of lost that game and maintained some respect. We are neither well drilled nor a team. Buck stops with Pardew on that one.
  4. That Lovenkrands goal against West Brom :'(
  5. A part of that is born from the fact that Obertan is genuinely s*** and historically contributes very little. Its f***ing awful for any footballer regardless of his ability. Inochi Not disputing that. I dont care who it was, its embarrassing whether they are Pele or Brian Penas. Just dont see why Obertan being s*** should lessen the reaction to Cisse doing it as you suggested. It shouldn't Rog, Cisse showed as lesser an effort as i've seen for him, he deserves all the stick as effort is the least he should give. We can only hope its due to the Cabaye incident which unsettled him on the night rather than him being unhappy since Wongagate, never seen him show so little effort. Now more than ever we need a JFK masterstroke to lift the players. No doubt hes sat doing f*** all this week though I think he's been worn down by Pardew's tactics and lack of chances created for him, doesn't excuse his lack of effort mind. I fear that this may be the case too. I could certainly understand his head dropping after the Taylor sending off, but he is paid good money to do his job. If your premise is true then it's the sort of thing that only goes one way.

Just dont see why Obertan being s*** should lessen the reaction to Cisse doing it as you suggested. I was explaining why people would react stronger to Obertan making a mistake. Not sure where you're saying I suggest it should lessen the reaction. Your reading things into my words. I wasn't sticking up for Cisse. Whatever.

  9. Seemed to control the ball well from Krul's goalkicks He did, typical knee jerk stuff tonight. Passes to him, immediately crowded by 3 city defenders, no options on, no link between him and midfield (again). Sure his touch was poor tonight but he's getting slated for not being an out ball target man tonight. He can actually link play just fine (he did it plenty when he first arrived). Well thank f*** for you two. I know he tailed off badly fairly soon after as things generally descended into farce, but people don't half let rage cloud their judgement on here at times. running around up top by yourself while your team is getting dicked is a pretty thankless task.

  11. Jonas, the red card, the injuries and the score. All inevitable. Something is seriously wrong.
  12. His pace would have been the only out ball we had. Sub him off.
  13. You sound like my deranged P.E. teacher. Get over it.

  15. The GODs are conspiring to give N-O its dream XI for our game against West Ham.
  16. This. Player that was injured then passed fit (presumably) to start then pulls up in the first half. couldn't write this stuff. Rushed back. Shows how highly Pardew values him IMO.
  17. Tiote getting a shot on target is the worst thing that could have happened.
  18. single malt or blended? Single Malt. What is it? Not far from breaking out the Lagavulin here. http://iimg.thewhiskyexchange.com/l/gmgob.10yov21.jpg Cut my dad and he bleeds this stuff. Not a bad drop though I love nearly all scotch. Some you just have to sip more than others. Going to buy some ice cream at half time. May as well get some pleasure this evening.
