That's an odd one. The MLS has been getting better about signing old, washed up, european players. I guess the league is progressing a little bit. Just looking at the current Designated Players, the average age is a lot younger than when that rule first came about.

If Colo stays I wouldn't mind seeing another CB in the 20-23 age range come in. I'm not sure how much progress Good and Streete have made but probably not enough to be considered 4th string. Obviously there are other positions we need to concentrate on more, but it would be nice to have someone developing. With Saylor's injury history I have no doubt that the 4th centerback will end up playing more than a few games at some point.

They probably want Colo to do his part and kick up a fuss so they can get him for nothing. We haven't heard the last of this but hopefully we can keep him. I had already written him off as gone.

Most of the players on Jamaica are actually English from the championship. San Marino doesn't field a bunch of Serie B Italian players. You're right though, if we are to be taken seriously we need to stop messing around with these small countries.
