Aye I can't see how Courtois won't be starting. But spending most of your time sat on your arse really isn't going to force a re-think! Definitely, so many examples of that recently. I guess these players just believe in their talents so much that they assume they will be playing without really looking at the situation realistically.

Courtois should be the starter regardless, from what I've seen of him. Though Mignolet should win that competition based on last seasons form at least.

When's the last time we started out with an 'easy' game? We've had Manu, Arsenal, Spurs, now City to start since we got promoted. Even in the Championship season we had to play West Brom first.

Yeah they seem solid but prone to switching off or making a dumb mistake out of nothing. I'd like to write it off to being inexperienced at this level but it's definitely the weak link at the moment. Individually Gonzalez and Besler are good but you can tell they haven't played together much. Johnson is better getting forward than defending which is why he lost the job originally and Evans is sort of a fill in at RB, though he has been decent these last few games. It's definitely a work in progress
