By that post I don't mean I want to see him continue to shoot direct at the keeper btw...
-
I want to see more from him like we saw at the start of extra time from Ben Arfas pass. Played the line perfectly, took the pass down well but struck it right at the keeper.

Was brilliant seeing the front page yesterday, I'll buy it whenever they do similar with NUFC.

How do you even go about replacing Suarez, given his goal return and his partnership with Sturridge looking very effective? Financially, a good deal, but I'm not convinced Benzema could step in and get the goals Suarez does for them. I don't know what it would take to keep Suarez at Liverpool (regular CL football? Title challenge?) but they have to bust a gut to make it happen.

I don't think Cisse has any physical presence and his positioning off the ball often leaves a lot to be desired. Gouffran would at least give you some running up front, and after an extended period of games to settle into the position, I think his goal return would be decent with HBA and Remy either side.

Genuinely think that Pardews thinking behind playing him central is that maybe he'll manage to dribble through defenders and get himself away. While technically an excellent player, I don't think Ben Arfa has the mental attributes to succeed through the centre. He'd have to start playing the simple pass for a start.

Someone's http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/money-back-pocket-12659941.jpg Someone's sweet ass?

It isn't a role he's used to, and given our position and the horrorshow that was last season, we haven't got the time to persevere and see if it bears fruit. He's looked brilliant for us on the right wing, I don't understand why Pardew is fannying around. Gouffran has experience of playing up front, he played there primarily before we signed him and was on course to have another prolific season in front of goal for Bordeaux. Remy on the left, Gouffran central, HBA on the right, it's simple if we are going to stick with this system. Pardew will probably chop and change again though.

I love that that article features a video of Beckham scoring from a corner.

how much is it now- it was 20p when got it regular. 50p, 60p on a Saturday.

The only other option in Ashley's mind would be Kinnear, make no mistake about it. If he were to suffer health issues again, we'd look at the likes of O'Leary.
-
He is so flat at the minute, I think he needs a bit inspiration and some good coaching, get him running the correct channels and teach him how to position himself so he's a danger. He just looks a bit clueless and out of place and has done for a while.

They could have either went down the route of tip-toeing, or they could take umbrage and start causing a stir. I'm glad it looks like they're doing the latter. Might actually buy the Chronicle a few times a week now.

The thing with assists, one player could make an identical pass that the striker misses, and the next player does the same and the striker scores. Assists rely heavily on having players who are able to score, we are bit lacking when the target most of the time is Cisse. I think Marveaux's days here are numbered. He just isn't a fit for our manager and you could make a case that he isn't a fit for this league.

Editor of the Chronicle.. Darren Thwaites @DarrenThwaites 16m We'd prefer to be banned than gagged #nufc @EveningChron http://bit.ly/1a9VsZ6

Why the fuck would you want this club to lose games? It's in the best interests of everyone that we win as many games as possible. Fucking mental attitude.
-
He's a young lad, he's been in the country less than a year and has been played in the wrong position for the most part. A good coach would get the best out of him.
-
Did canny. He at least looked like the scoreline was bothering him. Keep it up Tiote.
-
Good article, more of the same please. We just want the truth reported.
-
Nah, I'm not writing him off yet like.
-
Tired of him now. I think in terms of selling him, we'll struggle to get even half of what we paid now. God knows who we'll replace him with.
-
Pardew is a sack.
-
So they reported on something the club didn't want to be printed? It wasn't the way they reported it? Fucking pathetic. Ryder says the Premier League are aware of the situation, I'm not sure there is anything they'd be able to do.
-
We havent been fired up for any of the derbies under Pardew bar the over the wall one. Hughtons team.

Two derby defeats in a row.
