  1. I think he'll give it another season here before deciding on a move. Unless an English team in the CL comes in for him in the summer. I don't believe he wants to move, but he will have ambition. He's a talented player that's had a disappointing season. He did do a lot of work persuading players to sign in January though, which makes me believe he does see a future here for himself, we just have to progress along with him.
  2. Petty leaving out Ba. Also, why on earth do they have a part of the image from the McManaman challenge on Haidara as part of the banner above the questionnaire?

We missed out on Remy, therefore we should have moved onto our next target. Very half arsed excuse, even by his standards.

The day had to come eventually that Moyes would move on, think they'll suffer a dip now unless they get someone really good in, someone better than those being mooted around. Sensible choice from Man United, he'll work well with Ferguson for a season or two and the transition will be good for them.

Why would Real even entertain the idea of that swap deal, of course from a Man United point of view you'd snap their hands off for Ronaldo in exchange for Rooney. Daft point to make.

Yes, Everton avoided relegation on the final day in 2004. Moyes was under heaps of pressure, the next season they finished 4th.

Shame, but it's best to go out on a high. Hope after his retirement he does find ways to keep himself occupied, going to have a hell of a lot of spare time on his hands. Possibility of him mentoring the new manager for a short spell, help to bed them in? Such a big job to take on. Unless it's Mourinho.

Been offered a massive lifeline this evening. Absolutely has to take the right approach against QPR, which would be against everything he has done this season.
  10. It had to be a game like this, didn't it?
  11. This is the nightmare situation. Have to believe that Swansea will find two goals and win this.
  12. That's been coming. Swansea need a kick up the arse at half time.
  13. We're all absolute gluttons for punishment watching this. I can barely turn away from it ffs. How fucking ridiculous is this situation man.
  14. Swansea are on their holidays. Wigan are up for this, just lacking quality to put Swansea to the sword. Worrying signs.

Think we'll see a similar approach to the Benfica home game for QPR, though we won't take as long to try to score. Tight at the start, keep the game alive then go for it. Pardew will have as much faith in our ability to come back from a goal down as the fans do.
  16. OptaJoe ‏@OptaJoe 3m 1 - Only once in 58 Premier League home matches have Sunderland won after trailing at half-time (D13 L44). Mountain. Hopefully they don't buck the trend as Stoke have.

If we were to sack him, I do wonder if there are any top level clubs who would hire him with his track record. Decent first full season, but like in the past, had terrible second seasons. I think he'd go back to lower level management. He'll know himself how lucky he is to be manager at this club, and I think that's why he sets is up so defensively at times as there is that fear of losing.
  20. Very big chance he's still struggling with the depression he talked about earlier in the season.

    Has the passion gone?

Before when we were relegated, everyone had a belief it wouldn't happen so there was a sense of getting behind the players. This time, the warning signs are all there and we are on a serious slide. People have just given up as it looks like the players have, and Pardew has displayed severe incompetence a lot this season too.
  22. We'll go there and win by 2 clear goals. They're absolutely fucking dreadful, it would take something really special from Pardew to fuck this one up.
  23. Important to remember too that he's getting used to a different league in a difficult situation. I've been pleased with his performances leading upto the Sunderland game.

    Harry Redknapp

Wonder if QPR will stick with him, or even if he fancies a season in the Championship. Wouldn't like to be a QPR fan, will take a momentous effort to turn them around, sounds like a right mess from top to bottom.

Very likely that he will be asked to attend pre season with a lot of the players he's just slagged off. Should be interesting!
