How could the club have ever seen this situation coming to put something like that as a clause in his deal. Doubt it'll stand up like, if they want him there they'll get him, or he'll be fined/suspended.

    Oh ffs don't tell everyone.
  3. Crucial 3 points, would have been staring down a barrel had we lost. 5 points from the drop zone now, hopefully that gap won't decrease by much over the next 3 games.
  4. Dyer out is a huge miss for QPR, can see their confidence dropping now.

Somebody name and shame these muslims, so that I may stone them as they go out about their normal business.

Think it would have possibly done them some good to have gone ahead and had it.
  7. So this turned out to be the perfect set piece that Pardew was fine tuning pre-season?
  8. No way will we put £6m on the table for Douglas if he's out of contract in the summer. Try half that now.
  9. We should get Tiote hanging round outside the area on corners, ping it out to him, he smashes it home on the volley first time. Every time. Simples.
  10. Awful bench, hope the starting 11 can get the job done by 60 minutes.

  12. Think he should be taken out of the firing line for a little while if possible, try and protect the lad. Think most would say he probably shouldn't be getting as much game time as he has been in the league.
  13. It was your point, you called Carver a turd, I told you he gets one session a week to work on attacking. How much can you do with one session a week? Hardly a turd.

    Pardew Out?

    Absolutely no chance.

Hughton wouldn't toe the party line, Pardew will, and shall continue to do so. You don't give a manager an 8 year contract then sack him a few weeks later because of a few bad results.

He won't be sacked unless a significant amount of people stop going to games IMO. The cost of sacking him from his 8 year deal alone would be off putting enough. We won't go down therefore he will stay.

Ask yourselves the question; do you honestly believe if we hadn't played Maritimo on Thursday night, would the performance be any better? I'm not saying sack him, I just think he needs to go straight back to the drawing board and look at how he conducts training sessions.

I just think it's a very defeatist attitude to take. If I were a Southampton player I'd be really looking forward to getting stuck into our tired opposition today. It gives the opposition that little boost, we've already lost the mental battle.
  20. I'm no gambling expert, far from it, but the odds seem pretty good for an away win today.

In the Championship, we did have the huge benefit of being by far and away the best team in the division though. Knowing the squad had Europe this season and not making the necessary moves in the transfer market was a huge mistake. There are ways to balance the League and Europe, it just requires hard work and commitment. It's easy to hide behind these stats and it's probably the right move, rather than coming out and saying we simply haven't been good enough. Hopefully, on the training ground and the dressing room he isn't taking these stats seriously and each player is being given the correct information and advice to improve.
  22. Predicting a tight 2-1 win. They can't keep a clean sheet but have scored in all but two games this season. Will be nervy but I think we'll do just enough.
