They did it dressed so much smarter than when we were down there too. Double Mackem victory Aye, everyone knows that taking 1500* smart, well dressed massive lads fans to QPR on a Wednesday night is so much more impressive and hardcore, than taking 3000 full kit horse punhcers on a Tuesday night, marra! * approx number claimed by mackems... was probably nearer 15,000

It comes down to the bottom line again. They are in a league higher, yet we are still seen as the more important club. We haven't had the meltdown on relegation they hoped for, in fact we are the most positive for years... and its absolutely killing them. 'We sang louder when 0-1 down to QPR than the mags did at 6-0 up... we win!' as said... its just so desperate and needy.

Thought it was gonna be the mackems, way it went

Bubble machines when West Ham score a goal??? Think I'd rather hear Pigbag, FFS!!!

QPR1-2 Sunlun "Found their level, marra!"
-
It was handbags on Totalsport this evening between Nick Barnes and Gabbiadini about whether Sunderland should beat QPR easily tonight, with Barnes saying last weeks result should have a bearing as it almost set a benchmark, and MG thinking a 1-0 win (for Sunlun) would be a great result. Barnes finished saying a defeat would be very embarrassing for them.

Be funny if the QPR-Mackem match goes to ET, then QPR get a pella in the 119th minute!

Regarding van Aanholt being withdrawn against Spurs. Definitely a rabbit away, like. On Sunday, Moyes would only say it was 'a medical reason' and refused to elaborate further, then two days later they come up with the 'Cardio test results' as the reason. Why not just say that on Sunday?

QPR going close there

Reminds me of that Rihanna song.. "They found love in a homeless place"

FFS... lad at work used to send pics like that clip round, always on email disguised as something else.

Kuqi is not doing too well in his coaching career btw. First team he managed this year just confirmed it's relegation today and is totally bankrupt. And he had a some sort of crisis with few players and assistand manager, so about 5 players walked away in the middle of season. Then he resigned and went on to manage the other team in relegation fight. Bought few expensive players and now they are 2nd bottom and are facing relegation play-off. Sounds like a match made in heaven for the mackems, then!

Anita's ban upheld, but stays at 3 matches. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20160920/united-fail-in-anita-red-card-appeal_2281670_5909743

I think that'll be quite close to the starting XI as well. Whilst its quite a few changes, I think theres a few he needs to have a look at/give match time to (Yedlin, Lazaar, Atsu, Murphy), but also some coming back in who were left out last game (Clark, Hanley, Gouffran) whilst keeping a few core players. And unlike cup line-ups in previous seasons, its not like playing a team of kids, these are all essentially first team players who we will need to be using this season, so makes sense that they get some match time, especially just 3 days after the last match. Just not sure about the keeper. Think Darlow needs to play at some point, but he may stick with Sels again. Cannot wait to hear what 'Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee' on Radio Newcastle think of potentially so many changes.

Amazing how he was this very private person who never said anything in/to the media (I never even knew what his voice sounded like until before that West Ham match), now it seems you cant shut the bloke up!!!

Not wearing his black & white tie for once.

Wonder if their bid document is like the one when they tried for Euro's matches or similar... featured loads of images of Newcastle, Gateshead, basically anywhere but the hole that is Sunderland. How funny if they are beaten to this by Coventry, given their past hatred of them from the 'Jimmy Hill' episode??

If you show me anything that Louise Taylor has written about Newcastle which is even close to what this lad wrote I'll be amazed. It was only last December he wrote that he hopes we get relegated. Completely unsuitable to be reporting on SAFC. I never said she had wrote anything the same - but the worst of what this lad wrote was on his own private twitter, about 5 year ago (i believe). Nothing yet to suggest his integrity as a reporter would be in question going forward now. Ms Taylor on the other hand has been having sly digs (often none too subtle) at Newcastle when possible in her professional capacity, and who knows - maybe she feels the same way in private about as this lad does/did about SAFC. Anyway, as someone else stated previously, none of this should be a surprise from the fanbase that boycotted a breakfast cereal.
-
In fairness, I've seen a few comments (on here and elsewhere) over the years about Louise Taylor reporting/commenting on us for whichever rag she writes for. She loves a sly dig at us with her red and white tinted specs on. However, I think we've all stopped short of either threatening to boycott her paper because of it, or campaigned to have her sacked/removed from writing about us, as these idiots have, with this reporter. They are a special (in)breed down there.

I reckon he's got a 'fanny pack' on under his shirt... but you cannot see it due to his sizeable kite!
-
Wasn't that why we brought that 'superior striker' trainer bloke in for him, last season?? Can we get our money back? Hehe
-
This season, Southampton away... Shirt, shorts, socks.... a 'tidy, well dressed' massive lads fan right there.

Lowes and Anderson kept saying we were 'chalk and cheese'... 'night and day' compared to Tuesday night, as if that was the norm... up to now, it may be the exception. We will need to keep working on things... just because we scored 6, doesn't mean we'd hit some magic formula It was just one of those games, as today may have been. Its how the players react in the next few matches that will be telling.
-
That 6-0 win and Wolves 0-4 defeat on Tuesday were probably the worst things that could have happened, as I suspect a lot of people (any maybe some of the players, from sound of it) felt we just had to turn up today. Hopefully today will be a wake up call, and reminder that this is a long season, and there will be teams who come and try to frustrate us, and we'll have to play better more consistently. Anyway, I wont be getting too worked up about this defeat, as its still early days in the season, and we move on to the next match.
