  1. Seen figures of 5-9 billion mentioned, and various currencies, so who knows for sure, but this from the Gazette article... Another £250k in Mikes pocket there. Must be about £18m in total now, just from takeovers.
  2. Got us through the lockdown nicely though, tbh In fairness, it did. Those first few weeks of working at home flew by, waiting for friday-friday hopeful of announcements. Before we knew it, it was July!
  3. Couple of comments on Independent arbitration on Twitter.. PIF statement mentioned time taking to sort this also a factor in the withdrawal, so if they were expected to go to arbitration that could take another 6-18 months before they got any sort of answer? It it surprising they rejected that avenue?
  4. I really hope Staveley ends up finding someone to buy the club, if only to piss Sean off.
  5. So, the issue seems to be MBS being the chairman of the PIF Board, despite the consortiums assertions that he would have no say/day-to-day involvement. If he stepped down (or removed himself, even publicly) from the PIF board, would that appease the PL or are they still looking for KSA to be noted as a member of the board/owner of the club? Rightly or wrongly, comes across as quite arrogant that Masters keep saying... 'we couldn't do this or that, because they withdrew'. No explanation for the 17 weeks they had prior to that. On the face of it then, it looks knackered, and that there is nothing ongoing behind the scenes, as PIF won't arbitrate or change the board structure.
  6. Check out the 'comparible players' right hand side of the screen. Matt Ritchie, Left back.
  7. But if you didn't have to do something you probably wouldn't. And when you ignore something long enough, usually it goes away. I keep seeing the 360 account saying let's turn the screw, rallying calls to Mps, etc etc, Yes at least they're doing something fair enough, but the elite in this world dont give a shit about anyone, so given the fact they're not forced to respond bothers me a bit. And will Stavely and Ashley actually bother to drag this through court or just move on. But, now MP's are involved, writing letters, etc. if the PL still stay silent, and don't acknowledge them at all, then it may increase the chances of this actually being raised/debated in Parliament itself, which the Petition, even with 100k of signatures still may not have achieved. And remember, to wasn't just local MP's writing, it was MP's from further afield, who are arguing for the same transparency from the PL for all clubs, not just us. Probably not like but, ya reckon the PL are being silent 'cos the O&D test is actually still ongoing and they're not saything anything because it's a confidential process?.. I hope it is, but then you kinda think if it is because the talks are back on / O&D test still ongoing, then surely they could come out and say 'something' along those lines, rather than face the online and selective media flack they are getting at the moment.

Remember when Ashley got hauled in to speak about work practices, etc at S***** D*****? Maybe the same could happen to Hoffman and/or Masters if they maintain their 'no comment' stance.
  9. I think the ombudsmen have only 'advised' them to make a comment/statement. And the MP's are saying the fans deserve an explanation for the delays in the process, but again, nothing mandatory. I guess the hope with Ombudsmen / MP's / Boris getting involved, it makes the PL come out and respond in some form or other, otherwise it looks like they are also treating those parties above with the same contempt they are treating NUFC fans, by refusing to comment at all.
  10. So are they trying to say the triangle pattern on the 3rd shirt is to represent the Tyne Bridge structure??? #Clutching
  11. Just as the count goes up, the most recent sigs are noted. I dont hink you can see the full list.
  12. Its a petty some of the last few signatures are clearly fakes... Luke Edwards, Richard Masters, Richards Keys, Cristiano Ronaldo to name a few.
  13. Glad he’s back under his bridge for now. No doubt Sean will be along shortly to reiterate how he doesn't trust a word she says.... again.
  14. Is it? I think so. If she was continuing on from last week and the likes, I'd be a lot more worried. Yep as i posted earlier, hopefully the lack of any signifigant comment from her (unlike last week) suggests you were right and talks are back on, and as such along with NDAs.
  15. Its crazy they can (and are) just sitting without making a decision either way. If they aren't getting the answers or satisfactory answers from the consortium, then reject/fail them, and the appeal starts. But to just sit there ignoring it without an end in sight is just unacceptable. Just hope the pressure of the petition MPs and now Bozza makes them do, well... something??!!
  16. Interesting... So the EFL will make a public announcement on Twitter about their takeover failures, yet the PL won't comment at all, or approve it, or reject it.
  17. Hopefully the lack of subsequent comments from the bidding side since last Thursday/Friday means there's some accuracy in what Rocker[/member] posted, and dialogue between the bidders and the PL has resumed, and as such the NDA is back in play? #Clutching
  18. Thing is, it probably doesn't matter where in the country you are / your local MP is. This is arguably bigger than us now, with the elite/top 6/favoured clubs getting involved and apparently having a say on takeovers and such like. So still worth MP's around the country being sent this. And if the end result is more pressure on the PL for answers/transparency, then all the better.
  19. Does it have to get to a certain number before there's guaranteed consideration by the government? 100,000? It's not a parliamentary one. It could have 500 million, they don't have to do anything. That’s what I thought the other day. Needed to have been set up like the Wigan one. I posted some info from both the gov petition site and change.org. It seems on either site, 100k signatures doesn't gaurantee it being discussed in parliament, and some with a lot less signatures have been debated. I guess the profile of the petition either way could force the issue so it being reported by national media can only help.
  20. It's not, but Redbird Media have been linked at some stage and they've just bought XFL with The Rock as a partner. Hehe, linked by one person (Penn) wasn't it?
  21. From the government site: From Change.org: So, looks like even hitting 100k signatures doesn't guarantee a debate in Parliament, from either site - just that it may be considered for debate. But, some with less than 100k have gotten a debate.
  22. The petition seems to be gaining some more momentum with a number of ex-players sharing it on Twitter (not sure if they've signed it), such as Robbie Elliott, Rob Lee, Asprilla (though that could be Wraith running his account) and Malcolm Macdonald. EDIT: Just seen the twitter posts on previous page.
  23. Yep. If they do proceed with a bid for Milan, I guess we'll find out if we were all just paranoid that everyone wanted to prevent NUFC moving upwards, and we should see similar actions/efforts towards Milan from Hatice, and Amnesty Int'l, etc.
  24. Yep, just seen the NUST letter on twitter, also. The length of it, and the points made, and Masters issued his copy and paste reply. No doubt Chi will get the same, stating that its still a confidential process.
