Then the offer got to £35m and Carroll (allegedly) put a transfer request in.
I guess if Berahino wants the move and WBA hold firm, it may take him to put a request in, then WBA can say he forced the issue.
Then again, they may still keep him... they don't seem to mind having an unhappy player as it stands, so..
