Well, whether he stays till the end or goes now, if (when) we go down, he's going to use Covid, the fixture pressures and thus Injuries as the excuse, not his own ineptitude. Oh, and he'll probably throw some blame toward 'The Mighty Rafa' again, for the drilled tactics that Bruce found so hard to shake off/change.
-
He's his mate and has dug his heels in to sticking up for him despite 18 wins in 67 games. Chats shit and is generally patronising to the fans then tries to be witty about it by claiming he's sipping wine or some other lifting patter. Wish it was bleach, the fucking bald cunt. Him and the Tory rag he writes for can get to fuck. I know someone who is on Twitter, and is almost rabid in his defence of Bruce. I think he (nice guy Bruce) must have bought him a pint in Ponteland at some point, as there's not other justification for the shite and defence he's coming out with. He (this mate) also keeps going on abotu how Rafa has an NUFC relegation on his CV but Bruce doesn't.
-
That needs to be on the next Wor Flags banner.

Very interesting angle I'd probably accept a relegation if it led to the takeover and PIF/PCP/RB still got it, and we were rid of Ashley and Bruce. But, would the new owners not just face the same issues again if/when we got promoted back to the PL? Unless of course, Gulf relations, Piracy, etc were all sorted out in the interim?

RIP Glenn. The first NUFC Skipper I watched in early 1988 at my first match.

The club are clearly trying to protect him from awkward questioning, or maybe they only use the free 40minutes on Zoom, hence restricting media/journalists to a limited time/number of questions. Otherwise, why the restriction? Surely a PC over zoom or Teams should be no different to an in person PC, in terms of time allowed, and such like??
-
The way he reacts to the question, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was Craig Hope again, but it's not a local accent.
-
Appears he's been spouting the same shite about Daffodils for years, too!
-
Yep, there are those out there who will defend Bruce.
-
Yep, I know one. Loads of recent posts on Twitter backing Bruce, epsecially around the time Jones showed up.
-
It was a separate incident to when ASM scored... was a minute or so earlier. I also thought it was the same incident that led to the goal, but watching it on MOTD it was a bit earlier.
-
I know the image you's mean - it's the shot above of him on his knees, but show the Gallowgate in front of him. Found this one, which is just before that, as he misses the open goal...

Fulham at Palace on Sunday. So we could be 18th by Sunday afternoon, then.
-
Just seen that. Back to torment the Mackems!
-
Nah, Carroll is already here.
-
They never even mentioned that Lascelles/Maguire thing on MOTD, either. I'm still shocked they pulled Spurs and Mourinho apart for their recent form and run of results, and them only being 9th in the table, and his comments about he "can't coach the players any better". Yet we are in freefall, with Fulham right behind us now, and they just kept talking about us playing well yesterday, depite losing and not once is Bruce called into question in the same way Jose is.
-
Just watching MOTD, they pulled apart Mourinhos post match comments, looked at Spurs recent run of results, and questioned the tactics. None of that about Bruce. No questions of him, basically after 5 minutes of Man Utd analysis, we got a minute to say we had some big games coming up, with Fulham getting closer. Absolutely pathetic, and disappointingly so from Shearer.
-
Imagine if a defeat by his favourite team got him the sack. We can but pray.

Not even 'death threats' are they? More like 'death wishes'. As has been stated, loads of people have wished Mike Ashley a serious injury and worse over the years. But thats different to someone saying.. "Watch your letterbox, mike!" These things hoping he gets covid and dies, aren't 'death threats'... unless the perp says they have raging covid and are going to find Bruce and cough on him.
