There was a great Mackem phoned total sport tonight. Just kept saying "But wa still second bottom, man!" over and over. Then another phoned in mentioning the amount of free tickets at the last home match, saying one of his mates got 16 himself!!

So at the same time as the fans are demanding Ellis Short to put his hand into his pocket and invest more money into the club, the fans are doing the opposite and are investing less. Hmmm, looks like the fans have no ambition. The Free Ticket Mackems schemes can't be helping either.

Nice to see MOTD touch on the Hart-Boyd incident, whereas in our game they ignored the 4-1 result and the full analysis was about Pardew.

Unless it says Dad under the cut off of that photo in which case f*** knows Im sure the top bit is 12.12.12 - the date his dad passed away, strangely enough. Then below, it 4 with 'u dad' beneath. There is a larger pic, but the top bit is obscured by the hood, but (from memory when it was on look north) I'm sure its the date of death.

Pretty sure it was in the locals. Aye, I saw it on one of the local news programmes, so its a genuine story, apart from the 'had a ticket, then died' bit.
